There is alot of speakers that are overated and people still rate them high just because of what they used to be. You are doing a great job of telling us what is better for the money. Ive had most of those in the past and i totally agree with you.

Polk makes a good sounding product they are just always priced to high. They are good buys when they get to half off sales. I will admit I do have a pair of Polk 10” MM SVC and I have been really impressed with them. They handle the power no problem and have a shallower mounting depth making them versatile while still offering a surprising amount of excursion and ability to go lower then expected. I run ported and still very clean sound in a sealed enclosure you can get some good sq if you looking for that. Good videos thanks

I used to have 2 JL audios C2 coaxials 6.5 inch in the doors with C2 tweeters and they sounded fantastic. It would be nice if you compared them to some Orion speakers. I have seen a few videos of you comparing the Orions but never JL audio.

I recently watched a video where you suggested the Alpine S-S65 was the best speaker and here you seem to say the Infinity Kappa 621X 6.5 is the best. (non component) Both of them are around $100 so which is better? What size amp would you suggest pushing 4 of them with or 2 of them with? Thanks

I think the older Kappas were way better than the new stuff. You really have to listen to them in person with your own ears because I don't agree with him about the Kappas or Gto. I've heard them all, and I can't see them being better than Image dynamics. Maybe he is strictly going for the lower priced stuff because I don't see him testing cdt 6x9, hertz 6x9, or Jl Audio C2-690tx.

Appreciate the video, especially when you give us an alternative for each speaker listed. But I've got to ask what's wrong with the Morel Maximo? I have the Morel Maximo 602 seps and I think it sounds good but right now I'm looking to upgrade them. Is the MB Quartz alternative really much better?

I had Infinity Kappa's in my rear deck, The cones disintegrated/crumbled a little after 1 year. I lived in the UK so the climate is not especially hot so don't know why they fell apart so quickly

Hard to believe..... I've been using kappa 50.9/60.9 in a Jeep that was topless a LOT and then a Motorcycle for over a dozen years.... That's from a wide variety of climates... From the high and dry desert heat(115°F+ in summer) and the tropical humidity (95°F +100% humidity) of Louisiana for the last few years...

I have some Alpine Type S 2 way 6.5 in my doors. They're good for what they are. Clean and clear and I paid $40 a pair for them. I'm looking at Orion and PRV mid bass speakers for my next upgrade.

@Tyron Davis. Do yourself a favor and put DS18 Pro Neo6R's in your ride. They make great mid bass starting all the way down at 65Hz -14.2Khz. I have 4 of these on my Harley Davidson Streetglide. The Orions and Prv's won't play that low. The Orion HCCA's start at 130Hz-12Khz.

Could you recommend a 5.25 component speaker that's higher than $300 up to $400? I have now the Focal Polyglass. It's very old like maybe 10 yrs? Anyways they are in the door and I just dont feel the imaging is good and the sound feels thin. I hear too much treble and not enough mid because the speaker is pointed at my leg. The tweeter is in the dash pointing up to the windshield. I'm coming from a $15,000 home stereo (audiophile). I'm using a Zapco amp and Mats sub amp. I'm looking for a natural slightly warm sound that can handle rock or jazz. I don't play rap or crazy bass but my subs are quite ok. What can you think of? Thanks so much great channel!

Clarity: Hertz MPK 130.3 PRO Detail and depth, slightly lower Frequencies, and more power handling for 1/3 the cost: Polk Audio DB 5252 Assuming you have a HU/DSP that has gain controls, time correction and crossovers, you'll be able to fine-tune these to sound amazing. I've owned both, and almost kicked myself when I found the Polks (after having already bought and installed the Hertz models in another vehicle). Once I had them "dialed in", you can't even tell where the speakers in the vehicle are located, filling it with a resemblance of being center stage.

I have a question, i want to replace my 1995 Toyota’s oem speakers, they are 4ohm speakers and there are 4 of them with no amp, atleast i dont think so. I want to install JBL speakers which are 3ohm, is the ohm difference gonna be a problem or will it be fine? Thanks

Yep it will be fine only if you run loon period of time at mac volume maybe stock unit can't handle but You can run them without worry

These type of videos is the shit!! Keep on doing them very enjoyable as all of your videos! I really like you put effort and money to make them,they are my whole day company for real! Also a quick question,my pioneer head unit that says 4x50 isn't really 50 but 20 rms,so I have mtx coaxials at 70 rms,the problem is out of 62 max volume of the pioneer at only 42 the mtx'es gets distorted. I have tested everything from crossover till EQ tuning but it's almost the same.Keep on doing great videos and thanks for your time and your videos,greetings from Greece!! ♥️

Ok Pioneer head unets R over rated alpine HUnits showed less rms but actually plays louder so I you have distortions on speaker no amp its ur HU can't gave them a power so speaker start sounding bad My suggestions get small amp pack like alpine 4channel micro amp If you dont run cables so on Ull see huge sound improvement But again you can buy skar or rockville amps for dirt cheap and its worth the money )

Morels car speakers are no where near their actual highend stuff for making monitors, if you would equip your car with their actual hifi stuff, it would smash pretty much anything car related in terms of accuracy. I just wish they would use the same quality for their highend stuff in the car stuff, same with focal, same with Polk, its depressing lmao. Least infinity and jbl tries for car equipment... Love the vid man.
