It’s when these things are guaranteed that they speak of living comfortably. If you are living in England, where do you think you can have these factors fusing. When talking about where to live comfortably, economists have long opiated with economic measurements, as if those GDP headlines necessarily indicate where we get the comfort of life. We now know better; we must look beyond that and take a broader approach to measuring economic success. That’s why you should pay rapt attention to this video about what makes each of the 10 cities mentioned most comfortable cities to live in England.
10. Leicester
We begin with Leicester, a city and a unitary authority in the East Midlands. This county town of Leicestershire lies on the River Soar. It is the 10th on my list of the 10 best cities to live comfortably in England.
Some of the positives making Leicester an undeniably one of the best cities to live comfortably in the UK are good technology, greatly affordable houses, efficient transportation, high earning capacities, and very low cost of living. For instance, as of 2015, 99 percent of the city has a strong phone network with an average speed of 29.8 Mbps. Then, it was the highest and best in the entire UK. Imagine what the situation would be now as the momentum has been sustained.
9. Manchester
We next shift our attention to Manchester, the self-styled Capital of the North in Greater Manchester. Manchester is the UK's city with the fifth-largest population.
Why is Manchester having such a huge population? Well, it’s because of its being one of the best cities to live comfortably in England. You have to dig into its industrial past and add that to the fame of its soccer teams. While these add some color to life's comfortability, you also have to consider the fact that it’s one of the most diverse cities in the UK where many languages, including Arabic, Gujarati, Mandarin, Polish, and Punjabi are being spoken. It has to rank high in England.
Accommodation, education, security, shopping, employment, health services, and entertainment among other flavors making life more comfortable are in this city.
8. Bristol
While traveling some 120 miles west of London to reach the confluence of the Avon and Frome rivers, you’ll find the city of Bristol. When you move west of this city, you’d observe the blissful flow of the Avon River into the estuary of the River Severn, and following through, you discover Severn itself emptying itself into the Bristol Channel of the Atlantic Ocean. This historic seaport and commercial center is one of the best cities to live comfortably in England.
This city which is the home of the popular Clifton Suspension Bridge has in recent times been on the list of the best cities to live in England by many measures, including fostering entrepreneurial, professionalism, and work-family life balance. Add that to its being the home of top schools and universities, shopping centers, transport facilities, and job availability, you would justify its inclusion on this list.

After being transferred around the UK and living in many of our cities, for me the best one of the lot has been Bristol. Moved here permanently 6 years ago and never looked back. Reasonable cost of housing, better weather than most, amazing surrounds, great educational facilities and services. Good opportunities. It's big enough to have everything you need but still small enough not to have the problems associated with big cities.

Bristol is a city filled with graffiti and tagging all over, dilapidated buildings, increased homelessness, worst roads in the UK, very depressing weather, a council that cares only for themselves, increasing knife crime, druggies. It’s expensive and you’ll never get value for your money, increasingly vacant high streets. I’d say Bristol is one of the worst cities in the UK at the moment.

when you show LEEDS you actually show a picture of LEEDS CASTLE which isn't LEEDS in Yorkshire but is LEEDS a small village in Kent near Maidstone. If you compile a series of pictures at least get the proper place.

As a resident of Leicester, I am pleased that someone else is prepared to be positive about our city. Mind you, like other places, there are some really attractive areas and some that are a bit grim. Cambridge has lots to offer but have you noticed the house prices there? That is why there has massive house building in recent years in Royston, Cambourne and other places nearby.

Leicester is a good place to live. I always have a bit of a laugh that Cambridge is referred to as a city. It's a village with a uni and a hospital.

I nearly spat out my coffee when you showed Leeds Castle. That's about 250 miles away from Leeds, in Kent near Maidstone. Some of these cities are dumps. Oxford is horrible away from the colleges for example and Brighton is noted for disreputable behaviour. Where were some really nice cities like Salisbury and Norwich?

Though J am italian J have been many times in UK so far and J totally agree with yuor list. York,Cambridge and Brighton have been the towns where J have temporarily lived in different times.Southampton is the one J still miss .Probably on 2023 J shall go there.Have a good time and continue making videos of your country.

The figure is correct and doesn't include the other towns you mention, other than Wetherby (note how it starts with a capital letter) which is within the boundary of Leeds.. P.S. we're glad to be rid of you.

According to Leeds City Council website is that the population of the district is 604,000 and the city is 470,000. According to Wikipedia (all individuals research - not credited) Leeds is just under a million. Can you tell where this channel gets most of its research

The fact that Leicester even gets on this list LOL And then Manchester..... Leeds should be number one on this list, has everything you could ever want and a stone throw away from the some of the best scenery England has to offer. It's not in the middle of nowhere and you're not so close to London that you feel ill from having to deal with southerners...
