Swimming could have been added into the definitive edition, Rockstar could have made a swimming function with a stamina bar like Vice City Stories or even added it in as a new cheat code. Most people say swimming in Vice City is pointless, but i see it as a matter of convenience because of how easy it is to get rammed into the water and it would make sense considering the location of this game takes place in the tropics in a city based off of Miami.

This was of the era. Mostly to prevent players from crossing the island easily they want them to remain on one place to experience the game and story before slowly letting them explore more areas.

Oh you fcking legend! I came looking here specifically for a 360 camera mod because it's pretty horrible driving with locked camera positions and not being able to look with mouse, and Vice City is my favourite GTA. The other mods are cool too but I'm happy with just the camera mod. Cheers for the timestamps mate! Much appreciated :D

Thank you so much buddy. The truth is I do love old GTA games more than GTA IV or V and I am more like an old school player. Always love trying mods in these old games. About the views - well, luckily youtube is my hobby and I have a real job in real life. Also it's not my fault getting less views, it's not about subscribers, subscriber is just a number, it's about how fan is really loyal and watch every single video from a youtuber and enjoying his content. I do have over 500k subs but around 10k views per vid in average. We can see the loyalty here 😊 Also youtube's algorythm can be wrong too.

Will you make a similar video for GTA 3? I'd definitely love to have a "Manual Drive-By" mod for that game! :) I know that there's an LC mod for Vice City, but there are a lot of Total Conversion mods for GTA 3 (like Frosted Winter, Forelli Redemption, the upcoming LC '01, etc.) that could benefit from mods like this ;)

swimming mod has a glitch with classic axis like Tommy will only swim forward no matter how many times you try to move him left or right he'll only swim in forward direction same with Claude in GTA 3, that's why I had to uninstall the swimming mod from Vice City and GTA 3

What they need to make is the manual reload mod that will let you press a button that will manually reload your weapon. What kills Tommy in my playthrough most of the time is not the rapid decrease of health & armor from 100 to 0 but the fact that sometimes Tommy reload in the worst time because you need to make sure that the magazine or the thing that contains the bullet to be empty before Tommy automatically reload.

the only one I personally didn't like was the HD textures mod. It made the UI on the upper right look kinda weird and a little worse than the original, plus you don't need HD textures (which I'm guessing where ported by the Definitive Edition but either way) for these games, just HD resolution for the game itself, which the game has on by default. the other mods were really good and if combined with the reVC mod, they would make the game the true Definitive Edition of it.
