I live upstate. During the pandemic, we were paid to be out of work, but could only travel within the state boundaries. So I went all over the state. It really is beautiful, we are blessed. Watkins Glen is incredible, like a mini Grand Canyon.

I lived in Yonkers for the first 23 years of my life, and then in Brooklyn for 5 years, until I moved to Arizona, where I have lived for the past 43 years. I miss a lot of things about New York. It's a great place. . . if you can afford to live there (and don't mind snow in the winter).

I am surprised that Saratoga didn't make the cut. Thousand Islands is lovely, so peaceful. Boldt Castle 💞is beautiful with a nice boat ride to the island, loved it, we've been a few times. NYC has so much! I've been many times and do something new each time I go. Watkins Glen is another winner. Thank you for such a positive presentation of the Empire State.

I will stick with my beautiful upstate New York I love my state when people talk about New York they always think of New York City you forget there's a whole other part of the US state of New York beyond the Hudson River I was born in New Hartford New York and have lived in Rome NY my entire life

If you only knew the true New York I'm from New York and I'm from Long Island I moved away from Long Island a year ago and I moved to Florida from my help and my grandchildren Long Island in New York is getting very expensive and with all the laws and the mandating that they've done with covid was ridiculous people were losing their jobs because of covid because they were on getting the poison vaccine I don't think New York is a beautiful State anymore but yet I miss it very much I wish it would change so that I can go back

As a New Yorker from NYC, I'm happy that you are exposing the beauty of our big beautiful state. I've been to Buffalo many times and it's so beautiful. However, in winter the falls are absolutely frozen lol.

Great video! Growing up in Rockland County and going on road trips as a youth they’ve definitely missed a lot of spots. The city to me is overrated and too crowded. NY state is beautiful. Everything isn’t a tourist stop of course but it’s so much natural beauty and history 🙌🏽🙌🏽❤️❤️

How about Flushing Meadow Park the largest Park in Ny aka the World's Fair park in Queens NY,Sands point preserve Border of Queens and Nassau County it's a minutes from where the Best president we had Donald Trump is from there's Fort Totten in Bayside Queens White Point farms in long island great petting zoo and good food.

great video! However, the Woodstock festival was held in Bethel, NY just fyi for anyone who cares. Bethel Center for the Arts puts on great concerts every summer & is definitely worth checking out!

Great high level information and selections. But this video would be more informative if it added details. For example, the Hudson River Valley section shows many aerial shots, but doesn't identify any of the places. As someone who's about visit the Hudson River Valley I'd love to know what's being shown.

To the people wondering what is considered upstate, anyone from nyc will say anything north of Westchester but if you ask anyone north of NYC, which is 90% of the states land mass they will say anything north of albany, aka the adks, to which I agree
