I just love Thailand! Been there my first time last year to Phi Phi and Phuket. I've never loved a trip soooo much like Thailand. Thai people are always smiling and treating you well. The food is delicious and very clean even street food Inexpensive and modern rooms are very luxurious. Thai people are very hospitable and friendly when seeing foreigners. I love living here for the last 20 years it is cheap and I basically retired here at 43 and now 63 years old, lovely country and haven't been back to the U.S. at all and watched 9/11 on t.v. when it was live and all the violence in America school shootings lousy presidents and the high prices of everything I would probably be broke by now if I had stayed there. I also found a nice and beautiful lady here and on my 2nd marriage are doing fine.

Just came back from Thailand yesterday May 9th 2022 after 7 weeks and I am planning to go back again later this year. What an amazing country, people, food, beaches etc etc etc. We went all these places exept Koh Tao and Chang but there also places like Phang Nga Bay, Koh Samet or Koh Phangan (especially if you want experience Full moon) that are must go ! Also Pai ,west of Chiang Mai is a cool little backpacker's spot

Mae Sai is north of Chiang Rai by about 40 miles, it shares the border with Tachiliek, Myanmar. The clip at 3:48 shows the Mae Sai/ Tachilik border crossing. Although Railay Beach publicly claim the beach is accessible by boat, there is a primitive pathway the locals know about. Hilltop restaurant has amazing sunsets and food. The Bridge over the River Kwai was a fictional book with a movie later filmed in Sri Lanka. The death railroad was a real thing but Thailand's "River Kwai" came when tourist demand for visiting the River Kwai was very high so they renamed the river flowing under the Death Railroad bridge Kwai, pure tourist fodder. 12:16 that is the temple at the Queen Sirikit's orchid garden near the Night safari, it is about 9 miles as the elephant flies from Wat Doi Suthep. Your Lantern Festival clips are excellent! I was a bit disappointed when the Emerald Buddha was only about 2 feet tall and photography was not allowed. The reclining Buddha at Wat Pho is 157 feet long. You did a remarkable video,...I've been in Thailand for 8 years and explored over 25,000 miles of Thailand and extra time in Bangkok and Ao Nang and the Islands. Watch out for the giant veranus water monitor lizards,.. they're bigger than me! Regardz!
