For the match betting, mortgage companies know if you’ve opened a betting app the last 6 years, every 6 years this refreshes so I wouldn’t recommend the match betting if you are within 6 years of buying a house as all mortgage companies don’t like it and see you as a gambler witch in there eyes isn’t a trust trustworthy with money and it’s an easy excuse for them not to give you a. Mortgage, which is stupid but game is the game. I like the content stick at it 👍

Thanks Bud - I know what you mean. I think it definitely depends case by case, a friend of mine kept going in to overdraft betting which looks awful, if you've got a solid income and can demonstrate your good with money/deposit should be fine though :)

It's a bit of a weird one to get your head around, but it's basically "WIN" or "NOT WIN" so if they drew you would win the "NOT WIN" because they didn't "WIN". So you're always covered. The good thing I like about that Outplayed site is they literally tell you step by step exactly what to do.

Investing in alternative income streams that are independent of the government should be the top priority for everyone right now. especially given the global economic crisis we are currently experiencing. Stocks, gold, silver, and virtual currencies are still attractive investments at the moment.

Hey Chris, the ‘guaranteed transfer value’ is the pot of money I have in my pension yes? I have an old Final Salary workplace pension (5 years) and thought it was worth £5k or thereabouts but my transfer out forms show the value at £40k. Is this correct? Thanks

Hey Mad, I'm not completely sure to be honest, can you check with them? It seems odd to me there's a discrepancy? Do you know how much you were paying in? 5 years for £5k seems quite low, especially if it's gone up with interest?

@@chrispalmer24 I have emailed them for clarity. I think I misunderstood their early confirmation of the pension pot. It’s a final salary scheme from 20 years ago with 5 years service. The transfer forms confirm a guaranteed transfer value of £40k valid until March 2023 so the figure does seem to be correct which would be a very pleasant surprise. I will let you know what they say.

Yes starting a side hussel is one of the best things i have done, saving is good but doesnt get close to generating a second income, I try to invest the profits rather than waste on luxuries that my wife keeps insisting on. I have a question regarding my work pension I have with Scottish widow, could I switch it to a pension where I choose then stocks?

@@jujujonbitcoinisplanbcrypt9618 I would stick to a diversified index fund, even if you do it yourself, individual stocks I think are too risky for a pension (in my opinion) you need reliability
