The ending of TUSK was so depressing that I never want to see it again in my life. It is so upsetting. Brilliant movie but I will never ever watch it again.

Totally agree. I always hear about The Mist ending being so crushing, but nah. Tusk pissed me all the way off. One of the gloomiest endings I ever seen. Tusk and Requiem For A Dream are two movies I'll never watch again because of their ending.🤦🏾♂️

It shows his ex girlfriend and "friend" were terrible people. They don't take him to a hospital or get him help just put him in a zoo. All so he's out of the way for their own relationship.

The Thing, Hellraiser, and The Colour Out of Space (2019) are always my go-to recommendations for body horror. Yes, there are some more fucked up ones out there, but those are my favourites.

I bluffed my way into hiring Society on VHS when I was 14 because what I saw on the dust jacket looked enticing. It wasn't until I watched it that I realised I'd bit off more than I could chew body horror wise. Brain Damage is an underrated gem.

Have never watched it, but when I heard what one of the scenes in A Serbian Film involved, I feel that was going too far. Even for horror, do not involve a baby with porn.

I finally saw Earaserhead after hearing how great it was supposed to be and seeing some of Lynch's other stuff and just thought it was really boring and slow. It's like something an art student would make trying to hard to be weird and shocking.

Lars von Trier's Antichrist (2009) was difficult to watch for a few reasons, but the genital mutilation(s) put it over the top, in my opinion.

Personally, the worst kind of body horror film for me is one that DOESN'T go too far. The worst thing any film can be is boring, and these types of films are ANYTHING but boring!
