@@aleenaasif4712 to an extent, yes. I believe books make you feel emotions way more than shows and movies. You get to build the entire world in your head+listen and experience inner thoughts more. With tv content you just watch an already-built world.

very highly recommend The Silent Patient! it is written so incredibly well. it’s a murder mystery except we already know the murderer who is in a psychiatric home where a new therapists tries to figure out her motive and why she hasn’t said a word since the murder. the way the whole plot comes together blew my mind.

I love the way that you’ve been filming these more “sit down” videos recently!! changing location and even adding in some little vlog-style clips is so fun! definitely helps me to stay engaged in the video, and also feels like we’re having a bit of a chat but then getting distracted in a sense with some day-to-day stuff which is so cute and fun hehe🥰🥰

As a book lover myself, I liked this video a lot. I love fantasy novels (with romance) and some of my favourite books can be found amongst them. However, I do enjoy the romantic classics and "Pride and Prejudice" is definitely one of my favourite books ever.

Daisy Jones and the six by Taylor Jenkins Reid is soooo good!!! One of my fave books of all time! Also LOVED Once upon a broken heart by Stephanie Garber 😊

I would definitely recommend the Shatter Me series. It's a fantasy (more of a dystopian world) fiction book and the entire fandom is basically head over heals in love with Aaron Warner 😫😍 it's really good I recommend this series.

@@alyssablakey5007 You're right about the genre of those books. I like both of the series a lot. If you want to read fantasy, I recommend different books and series by Sarah J. Maas. Her books are really good.

Yes I love this! My favourite book of all time is Archers Voice by Mia Sheridan but I also read Six of Crows recently which is technically a fantasy book which I never read but it was so good! It basically just follows 6 people that have to pull off a really important heist and it’s so adventurous and fun! I loved it!

My favorite book of all time is Lust for Life. It’s a biography about Vincent Van Gogh but it’s written like a novel. It makes me sound crazy to say this, but I’ve never related to any character in any book as much as I did to Van Gogh in this book. I was soooo into this book that like a month after reading it I flew to Amsterdam just to go to the Van Gogh museum and learn even more about him. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend

The inheritance games and one true loves are greats reads. I love this video and Jess I'm so glad you are turning into a bookworm. I feel books give me so much peace and a chance to escape reality for a bit. Jess I highly recommend Love and other words by Christina Lauren it is Friends to Lovers and made my heart ache. Btw I love all your content you are an amazing role model and spread such positivity. ❤

Better Than the Movies is definitely on my tbr, thank you for lots of good recommendations! For me, I really like the Voice in the Wind by Francine Rivers. Also, I really like These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman and Jaimie Spooner. There are definitely more favourites but those are my all time best books. Thanks for the video Jess! My all time favorite 2 books are The Life She Was Given and Verity. I am more of a thriller/horror fan. One Of Us Is Lying sounds so good. I think that is going to be the next one I'm gonna read.

I'm reading through the books of Paul E. Miller currently. I finished a praying life and I'm reading a loving life right now and these books really changed me! Such a good author and a really nice writing style, highly recommend! :)

I am probably only a fourth of the way through the ruthless elimination of hurry because its really hard to find time to read in nursing school, but I still recommend it to everyone because the little bit I have read has been SO good. I have so many little tabs of things that are so good and so convicting! I love you and your lil fam and it is a dream of mine to bump into y'all one day in Nash 🥰❤
