I'm a 70 year old widower, and I been using flaky biscuit dough for dumplings for 50-some years. If you eat a lot of ramen soups, try adding a couple of dollups of peanut butter to the boiling water along with the bouillon packet. It tastes just like noodles in sesame sauce.

A German thing to make with biscuits. Cook 1-1 1/2 lb ground beef crumbly with a diced onion and drain. Add 2-3 TBS of oregano and a small head of shredded cabbage and 1/4 cup water. Simmer for 5 minutes to let the cabbage cook a little. Drain any water. Roll biscuits and fill with meat mixture. Fold biscuit over meat mixture sealing in. Place on greased baking tray. After all of the groutburgers have been processed brush tops with melted butter and bake at 350° F for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Delicious I don't live in Germany but I have German blood and a German friend taught my Mom this recipe.

My husband will eat the one with turkey, Brie, apples, & a lemon mustard sauce for lunch too. Others only eat sauce, cheese, & meat! Plus I use these for dumplings & no one knows that they are from a can (shh...don’t tell)! 😂. I love biscuit dough now!

Over 30 years ago, I attended a Feliz Navidad themed Christmas party and someone brought sopapillas made with canned biscuit dough that were pretty darned good! You just flatten the biscuit with your hands, and then drop it into some hot oil, about an inch deep, in a skillet... lightly brown both sides and then dust with either powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar. Thanks for reminding me that it’s high time I made some again!😊 P. S. I almost forgot that you then drizzle them with honey!!!

The recipes are great, but, the main reason I wanted to comment was to thank you for saying voila instead of walla. It made my brain happy to hear somebody say it correctly, for once. (For all of you about to call me a Karen, I never would have said anything had she said it wrong...but, I will compliment when it's said correctly.) 😂😂

It always ended up being hard to keep the dough from rising too much. After seeing this, I'm going to try make them a bit different. I hope to share it on our new youtube channel soon.

I'm sharing the video because I thought it was great. You're just insulting people. Oh wait, I remember. Try cinnamon rolls. Take a large marshmallow. Dip it in melted butter and then roll it in cinnamon sugar. Next wrap it in biscuit dough. Place in a muffin tin. Brush with any left over butter and bake. The marshmallow melts and makes ooey gooey goodness inside the biscuit.

Barbara Troutwine , my sweet mama never wasted either. We grew up poor in southern West Virginia but didn’t know it when it came to mama’s cooking! I can remember her taking a hambone and pressure cooking potatoes, celery and carrots on it with a pone of cornbread and we ate it all up every time. We sopped up the juice with the cornbread.
