Kevin Nash never loved the sport, it was just a job for money and getting ahead for him. It's also because of him that Rey Jr. was unmasked at WCW in a stupid, uneventful match. Look at any of the real concussions that happened in wrestling, the guys were always back up and botching moves due to their dizzyness within minutes lol.

I saw the Ultimate Warrior vs. Triple-H match. I think the Warrior's no-sell of the Pedigree was part of the match script as The Warrior went on to win the match. Otherwise, it would have ended in a count-out or disqualification of some sort. The botched Jacknife Powerbomb landing at 3:57 wasn't really Shawns fault I don't think. Nash stepped to the side and also kinda ducked under it not allowing Shawns legs to go over and be stopped by Nashs shoulders and therefore cancel the rotation. If Nash had kept his stance square then Shawns legs would've hit his shoulders and stopped the rotation that he was in which would've made it next to impossible to land like Shawn did here.

I honestly don't see the problem with HBK's selling with the punt kick.
@metallicanerd132 жыл бұрын
then you forget they've brought stretchers out for healthy active wrestlers to sell the punt

From what I've seen/watch/heard/saw, taker's usually very precaution and this was one such act. Watch it carefully and you'll see that there wasn't enough space for taker to land flat(if sold it as an RKO) thus selling the move as a neckbreaker.

4:15 Shawn Michaels sold that power bomb from Nash by landing on his feet because he had a bad back and this was right before he lost his smile. He taking a power bomb from 7 feet in the air would be insane with a bad back like he had. His feet broke the fall completely.

You have to agree Shawn is a great salesman. He knows how to sell.

In all fairness though (and I am NOT defending Ultimate Warrior on the accusation of being unprofessional), how much of that no-sell was him and how much of it was Triple H being punished by WWE for the Curtain Call?

I'm confused by that Rock Bottom sell too. It'd make sense if it was a "counter"(not sure what else to call it) into a pin attempt.

I think that Rock Bottom sell was supposed to be a counter but I can’t quite tell.

Stuntman & former pro-wrestler here. I think a lot of those sells are just people forgetting the bump. Like Rikishi’s legs went the wrong way on the Rock Bottom, so there wasn’t much he could do. With HBK and the jackknife, I’m guessing Shawn was trying to illustrate how Nash’s powerbomb doesn’t guide you down like others. He just kinda picked you up and let you go, and it was up to you to fall correctly.

This is honestly sad, how can someone not sell a RKO and a Tombstone....SMH

I think undertakers rko sell actually fits it looked like he was caught off guard

In taker's defense on that RKO, if you look, he looked pretty close to the ropes, maybe he thought he'd have a bad landing if he fully extended for the sell, so, turned midair to prevent possible injury (?)

“Take” and “Took” is the word your looking for. “Selling” is the Reaction to the move. Rikishi simply hesitated, or wimped out, to taking the bump…. It happens.
@MountaindewM2 жыл бұрын
There are times when no selling can be a good thing and can be added to the storyline. It could be a unclean finisher. Would add more depth to wrestling if sometimes they purposely hit the move but make sure they hit it a bit "softer" or in a way that makes it not appear to be done to full effect. This could allow it to be kicked out of and still ensure it keeps it's status as a finisher that means something. Now obviously some moves you can't do this with but there should be some where you can.

if this was a best sell lis, kishi would hopefully be on it for his corkscrew 360 after a clothesline. always great. dont think io ever saw that rock bottom gone wrong until this list. looks like it may have been when i was going in/out of watching wwe in highschool.

For real, he may have taken the RKO as a stunner, but it looked like it completely wrecked him anyway, the clip was too short to really see anything post-move.

I don't think Rock's selling of the stunner gives it more credibility 'it is rather hilarious because everyone can see that it doesn't look real. It's just funny.

Correct me if I’m wrong… wasn’t Taker working with an injury in 2005? If so that’d explain why he took the bump more like a swinging neck breaker. Especially if it was his knee that was injured.
