207 cc, and the occasional z4 come in on the budget. good feature. i bought a 230slk for peanuts 3 years ago, love it, and its gone up in value.....happy days.

For some reason I am leaning towards the EOS. The irrational need to slam one is setting in. You would normally see me rocking a casio watch than any jewellery, would have either colour 😉

I can comment on the C70 as a current owner. It is heavy but slippery and a real 4 seater - my T5 with 220 hp achieves ~7 sec 0-60 and ~150 top speed - this is the focus ST2 engine, easily chips to 250-300 bhp apparently. Cruising at 60mph I have seen 40mpg but high 30's is more feasible. I have black leather but no squeaks anywhere. Car cost me 2.5k a few years ago, love it. Front seats are the most comfortable I have ever experienced.

BMW Z3 is great for sure! Looks amazing, drives amazing! But we're not bias at all 🤷🏽‍♂️

literally i was looking at the 308 CC, they look really nice and you can get a leather enteriour. You can get them for under £3000 too. hard top, looks great

MG TF is a personal favourite, but just a shame that you'd need another £2k aside just to run it! I ain't usually one for Jewelery, but that gold looks well nice

VW Eos is so much car for the money

I have a Series 2 Lotus Elise with a K-Series once the head gasket is sorted (properly) it is no longer an issue. Lotus did tune the engine and in doing so made it fairly robust. Cracking video!

From this list I like the MG TF, BMW Z3, Mazda MX-5, VW Eos, Volvo C70, Merc SLK, and Audi TT. I like those chains whether it's gold or silver. I usually don't slap the like button on videos like these because there are cars that will rise in value but this one receives a like from me. I hope you understand.

How do you diss the z4 like that, the z3 is cool but it is massively improved upon on the z4 and you can get the 2l versions for under 2k

SLK is the one, modern classic in the making right there.

Can you do a video about reliability ratings for modern hot hatches (e.g. MQB (s3/R/Cupra) , m135i, A45, focus, meganeRS etc. ). You can't predict the reliability of new cars as only time will tell so you could review the cars that are just about to run out of warranty or already have. People who want to have only 1 car for having fun and as a daily will look out for these cars but may be skeptical due to reliability issues.

Mercedes SLK230 goldwing

I Bought a 2003 z4 recently for £1400. 230bhp, rear drive convertible, and not even a mention in the top ten? Ok, I admit I got a bargain but I've seen a few at under 2 grand especially less powerful versions like the 4cyl z3 you mentioned, but z4s aren't really any more money than the now semi classic z3. 6cyl Engines are good other than fragile plastic cooling parts, they don't seem prone to rust and i think its still quite a fresh looking design. Also worth a mention there are sub 2k mx5 mk3's around although I looked at 2006 and 07 cars that were both badly rotten underneath. Enjoyed the list though, we all love a top ten.

Practicality wise, the Volvo and the EOS are definitely the ones to opt for. Never been a big fan of convertibles. My wife had a 206cc and the back seats were completely pointless.

Not a convertible fan, although taking the roof off was useful when I went drifting in an MX-5 and my massive head literally couldn't fit in the car with the lid on. I was thinking "the Z3 doesn't look that pretty" and then a PT Cruiser goes past- all things are relative...(controversially?) the NB is my favourite MX-5 for looks, but I think that might be because I passed my test just as the NB went out of production so it was the shiny new one when I was a teenager.

I like the Peugeot 206CC, I dream with a car like that. Also I like the Mazda MX-5

Anyone I've known who has ever driven an MG TF usually say the same thing "I thought it was broke! It wasn't, that's what it's supposed to be like!"

The big problem with the slk230 is the hydrologic roof. When it fails. It will cost $5000 🇺🇸 to fix.

wow mate your off the boil with the EOS - you speak about the fsi(non turbo) model.. the tfsi has 197bhp and remaps nicely to just under 250 with normal the normal turbo bolt ons... its like a really cheap golf gti

Nice video but what's up with the Mitsubishi czc nice 1.5 ltr also by pinna my. 2006 czc mk2 2009 czc2 mk3 2001 czc3 these are great little roadster my only gripe is the roof slide on the hinges cheap cast aluminum cast. I have to admit it is a WTF car as not too many around. I have only seen one other in 3 years. So if you want fun and a good laugh at other people's faces get one it priceless.

I sold cars for 20 years, I once had to drive an MG TF to another garage, a journey of 10 miles. It was Summer, nice and dry roads but it was like driving on ice, the car was all over the place. Worst car I have ever driven.
