Great show, Solon! Y'all found some really cool and interesting cars & trucks. That 65 Studebaker Challenger is purdy awesome! I've never seen one of those before, and I wouldn't mind owning it myself. Alas, I'm a broke & broken older guy that loves cars and trucks, but in my case, I'm not financially able to even think about ever getting back into cars. Nope, the days are gone of buying a 66 Chevelle for $800 anymore. Heck, I've even paid $100 bucks for a running, driving car that was in excellent shape. It just needed a starter and a tune up. My 1st car was a 63 Chevy Impala, I paid $100 in 1975..had a 70 mark 3, black on black..loved that car. Recently sold a 65 C10 that I did a frame off resto.

When I was 18, I had a 1962 Dodge D100 Sweptline Short Bed Truck. It had a 318 Super Red Ram (Printed on the valve covers) engine and push-button transmission. My stepfather traded it for some work on my mother's car (without my permission, I might add) That truck was very special to me as I had traded a 62 Chevy four-door for it to my best friend, who passed away not long after. I've been looking for one ever since, but it seems they are very rare..

I truly loved the Grame pickup, I never heard of one, my favorite was the studdy😊

Far as I can remember, the Tucker had a rear mounted engine from a helicopter. But, I'm old & remember what happens to your memory when you age.

Hood ! I’ve owned several vintage pickup trucks, unfortunately they were not vintage at the time. Most fun truck was a 79 Bronco, lifted 8 inches with 38s. Lot of fun to drive.

The Tucker motor came from a Helicopter! In the "copter" it was air cooled but Tucker transformed into a water cooled engine. My oldest pickup was a 1954 Ford F100.

Hood, I had a 1962 ford f100 it had a solid body. Cap and bed was not separate. Wish I still had it.

First truck in high school was a 1937 Dodge with a 302 ford.

Back in the mid 1970s my neighbor was my friend and his dad was a doctor. In his spare time he would restore old furniture, built a large sleeping sailboat, built a dune buggy, and restored a Morgan like the one in this video but older. The wire wheels on the Morgan, like in this video, were rusted and corroded so I said I'll take them to my Summer job at a plating factory and get them restored as a "government job." He was hesitant but handed them over. After about a month he was getting concerned but I told him free can take some time. About two weeks later they were done and beautiful. They had stripped off the ruined surface, sanded out all the gouges in the spinners and chrome plated them to a perfect mirror finish. When I gave them back to my neighbor he couldn't believe they were the same wire wheel covers claiming they were better than new. It was the finishing touch on his Morgan and he loved them.

I've owned several vintage trucks, too many to list, my favorite Vintage truck was the 56 Studebaker Transtar that my dad's uncle had when I was kid, He bought it brand new and after the engine blew in the 79 or 80 he put it in the barn and started building it into a Hot Rod. he took out the 246 inline 6 and the manual trans and put a Olds 350 and 3 speed Auto trans in it, painted Ox Blood Red and recovered the seat black. I've always thought the 64 Stude challenger was odd, it was like the took the roof off a 63 Bel-Air and put it on a 62 Ford Falcon.

I had a 1970 Ford 100 long bed with a 300 six and 3 on the column. In original condition except for the engine that had been replaced before I bought it. Wish I hadn't traded it for a 4x4 Toyota and a big old shop tool box. I know who got the best deal there.

Had a 65 f100 I dropped a 71 caddy 472 turbo 400. Sold it 10 years ago❤😢

The model A sedan was a beautiful car also the Graham pick and the 40 Ford pickup I really liked that Graham pickup and 29 Ford model A both were perfect and I wouldn't change anything on them the 40 Ford needed V8 I think it would help it sell
