Something I like about Anna is that when she is explaining she is also adding her experience and any of her past mistakes and what she did about it. It shows that she is still learning along with us kinda like a big sister/mentor. 🥰

I'm (fashionably) late to the party, but I have a grievance with Hermes: they may be at the apex of the luxury market, but as a matter or principle I would never patronize their stores, even if I could afford a Birkin or Kelly, for the simple reason that the staff make a concerted effort to be rude to customers. Hermes is notorious for hiring dismissive, arrogant staff and I believe it's become part of the brand's identity. Rudeness is never elegant!

Nice ! I don't spend more than about $500 on bags anymore since there are so many out there that are great around that price point (if someone wants to gift a more expensive one - fine). The nice thing is that it means there's more money to put in it (or in my TFSA)! Also, the value of a good bag is really in the way it ages too...

Absolutely. I do the same thing. I purchase bags from companies like Aspinal of London. They are easily as well made, and as stylish, as any "designer" handbag, for a tenth of the price. My investment was in my education, and I buy my own handbags.

Great video. Just had a chat with a friend about this. I've noticed a lot of influencers have the same items, shoes, bags, clothes, sunglasses, etc. There's a worrying lack of individuality. My nightmare is walking into a room and seeing myself everywhere. I love the *jklux* bag right now because I find it unique, and the impetus to buy and spend your hard earned money should be because you "like" it. Conspicuous consumption is never a good thing, uniqueness is a mark of pride.

Lovely collection! I bought my first LV when I was 25 and I only used that bag a few times, haha. Also, love your clutch! I have an Eva clutch in the DE print and love the little chain. But I don’t want to spend so much money on it now, I have been *hotdups* buying the bag I want, it is as good as LV and is one of my favorite things. Durability

St. Laurent bag is a great first designer bag! I’ve loved YSL forever. Yves was the first designer to popularize and also make it acceptable for women to wear tuxedo trousers and blazers as evening wear. He wanted women to be comfortable in their clothes.

I prefer the Hermes Lindy -- I have it in several colors, it is very discrete, not heavy for its size, and it is easy to take my things from one bag to the other -- everything is in a purse organizer and in the same place. For its profile, it holds a lot! I also like the Bottega Veneta double chain tote, again it has a flat profile but holds a lot, with no logos. It's great to watch you moving into your cool color wardrobe, with the icy lemon sweater here and the lavender sweater, and the cool rose lipstick. The pastels are very flattering and very soft -- easy to watch and so feminine.

If you ever have the opportunity to travel to Italy, take the chance to buy bags in small local boutiques that sell what they produce themselves instead of big brands. Those small stores usually have the same same level of craftsmanship as known brands and also get their leather, silk, and wool from the very same providers as designer stuff. You can get much higher quality, more exclusive designs and even more elegance at an affordable price shopping in those small unknown underrated boutiques than getting designer stuff that everyone has. Always look for craftsmanship, quality, durability and elegance, not just a stupid brand.

Have you considered vintage or consignment stores? There are many online options such as Vestiaire Collective (I mention them because I have personal experience buying through them and have had no issues). Alternatively, look into brands like Aspinal of London, Furla or other Italian designers that are not as well known. The quality can often be on par or better than really high-end brands. Failing all this, if you have a cheaper leather handbag you can sometimes make it look more luxe with tasteful accessories (think a silk scarf tied on the handles).

Please make a video of flat covered shoes/sneakers that are classic or at least elegant looking. I have a problem with my feet and I cannot wear heels or anything flimsy anymore :( I would appreciate it a lot and I'm sure some more mature women the same.

kileaste same. I have wide flat BIG feet and it’s the hardest part of dressing. Top that with a tarsal coalition and heels have been removed from the equation at the tender age of 27 years old

Honey, I walked around in high heels for ever. Now, I am 57. Every thing was hurting. Me knee, hip, and back. My arches fell. Went to a good shoe store and got measurements. Size seven to a five and a half. My advice is to try Arcopedico from Peru. I am seeking out some shoes for dressy occasions. Hard to look classy limping around.

Yes, a flat shoe guide would be nice. Take a hint from Queen Elizabeth and rather than super flat, wear a 1 - 2 inch heel often the most comfy. I love a ballet flat but the rounded toe is too casual for evening.

Absolutely! I love the Katherine/Audrey Hepburn look (brogues/flats with small heel/kitten heels). I have flat feet and bunions and incredibly bony feet with almost zero padding so comfort is KING. Can't go wrong with brogues. Puma makes pretty gorgeous and affordable sneakers, especially their fashion designer collabs.

Agree 💯 on everything! Excellent video. Thank you!! You’ve also introduced some designers that aren’t very heard off here in USA and I love that. I’m all about timeless classic styles too and don’t like logos either. It’s been super helpful to decide what I want my first designer bag to be. Definitely loved both Bottega Veneta shown. Those are probably my favorites and my least favorite is the Hermès Birkin but that’s just personal taste.

my first bag was a mollerus. its a swiss brand(im from switzerland). The price was about 700€. I mean a bag for 2000$ is affordable , but a bag for 20 000$? I mean 90% of anas followers cant afford that expensive bag🤭(me too). But i love this video, because i learned that my next bag wont have a big logo 😃

Anna I remember first seeing your videos I wasn’t quite sure how to take your advice. Someone had left a negative comment about you which was quite mean and degrading to which of course, you did not respond to. With each new video you have put out it is clear that you are the complete opposite of what the comment was about. You have so much class and you’re highly intelligent and I must say that you have to be commended for achieving so much for a young woman. It takes years for most women to learn what you already know at your age. Well done I truly admire you 🙏 I wish I could turn back time and start again with your valuable lessons in mind. I like Delvaux but not Moynat. Delvaux bags look clean, classy, and expensive. Moynat bags look to be mid level bags because the design is kind of meh.

Italian bag designer Valextra makes super-chic, understated elegant bags as well and hardly anyone else has them, let alone knows about them. If you’re in a financial pinch, you can still afford elegant bags in classic, streamlined shapes without compromising on quality. Pierotucci in Florence and Milan will makes these bags in classic shapes for you and you get to choose the leather and colour. You can either order online or go to their stores and they make amazing bags at a fraction of what the big name designer bags cost.

The YSL Sac du Jour & Céline are my favorites, love the minimalist look. Hermès bags are too classic for my taste. In France, old ladies wore it a lot in the 50s-60s, I imagine it stuck with me.

The Hermes Bolide bag is a classic, without the showy hardware of the Constance. It is timeless, elegant and versatile. My husband selected it over other Hermes models, and loves whenever I wear it because he loves the lines of it. Since it is one of Hermes’ original bags from the 1920s, most people who know the line immediately recognize it without labels. I would consider it for a first Hermes bag, although it was not in my case, because it is so versatile and can be easier to obtain than certain others.

I'm with you, K Taylor. Why do people wear logos all over their bodies to impress each other? My good quality bags have the smallest logos I can find or no logos at all.

I love your videos. This one hits home for me because I’ve never been one to spend a lot of money on hand bags. I could never afford 2000.00 or more for a bag. And if I could afford it, I still wouldn’t do it. I wouldn’t buy something with a logo to advertise a company for them. I also think the elegant lady makes the outfit, not the accessories.

Hobbs do a version of the St Laurent bag in croc embossed leather for just over £200. Radley's current range includes croc embossed similarly shaped bags. Look out also for Strathberry, Mulberry's zipped Bayswater and JP Tod bags. Teddy Blake and Everlane offer collections made in Italy, but if you are in Florence, check out Parri- they have exquisite hand made classic shaped bags. .

I totally agree with your concept of elegance! Last week my mom wanted to buy me a Guess bag but I refused since their bags have a lot of logos or one subtle logo. I might be kinda plain but I want an elegance in a bag which cost my one year savings. This also applies to my taste in clothings & shoes. I even buy a phone case which covers the Apple logo.
