It was widely requested that I do another mods video, so here it is! One of 4 actually. Today's mods will focus on upgrading the first person experience- and more specifically, adding more detail and upgrading immersion.

Quite frankly i went into the mod being a bit skeptical as the thumbnail reminded me a lot of mods/modpacks that have pretty, distracting HUD features. But i was pleasantly surprised to see a lot of actually great mods, the only one not being up my alley being enhanced visuals. And the video itself is quite great.

Immersion is so important to me, the less hud the better. A lot of people like to maximize their screen with ui, but i know there are people who also appreciate simplicity. I thought i'd share what I'd found!

Dont forget that there is also a save hotbars feature in vannila so you dont have to download item swapper if you are not that serious at building

I think it's interesting how what types of mods you install reflects your playstyle/taste/etc. For example, while you use mods to hide the hotbar when not in use, I use inventoryHud+ to show my my entire inventory and armor at all times! I also use dynamic crosshair but I use it because I like how it changes based on the type of action rather than because it hides it. lol Also, ItemSwapper is goated, I can't play without it anymore. The game hasn't updated until itemswapper has - for me, anyways. lol

Thank you so much! And yes! I have seen lots of mods that change how the hud displays information, but i value the details, so for me specifically, playing with less actually lets me play with more, if that makes sense. I know there are people who disagree with my mod choices and that’s totally okay, I’m not playing for them. I am purely sharing how I enjoy the game; and I know I’m not alone in this play style. I used to agree that having more information was better! But as my taste and style have changed over the years, so has how I look at Minecraft as a whole. Itemswapper is great! I love the idea of the mod, I just need to get used to using it. I pretty much always have it downloaded, just frequently forget that I have it when I need it. Super useful tool, I hope it continues to get updates

Camera Overhaul is actually really good, but the default values are a bit much in my opinion. Luckily, you can edit all the values through Mod Menu and make the camera inertia effect much more subtle and less jarring.

@@layncemc It was a separate player animation overhaul. Fairly obvious in hindsight that it'd have conflicts, but it just didn't register for me for whatever reason haha

That’s a feature from Essential! It has a whole lot of features beyond emotes, like in game skin changing or free multiplayer, but that’s where the emote is from :)

That’s a mod called Mod menu! Cloth config along with it is incredibly helpful

That would be items displayed! You can also place resources like ingots or gems, alongside trims, templates and sherds!

That’s just the base game! When you are asleep, your cat will lay on you and bring you a random piece of loot in the morning! If I am wrong and this isn’t what the default animation looks like, that is likely the work of Fresh Animation!

These mods are quite lightweight, but if you mix these with some performance enhancing mods, you shouldn’t have too much trouble!

I did a video on DABR! A bit different than my normal videos, but I am well aware of that mod, and frankly I’m 50/50 on whether or not I should have added it. I think how disorienting it is deters me from saying that it fits the vibe I was going for with the rest of these mods

I believe that was something they plan on addressing in a future update. That’s one reason I have it toggled off for now as well. Really fond of the concept, but that small tweak would make so much of a difference

the backflip is not from parcool, it's an emote from essential!

If you mean certain features of enhanced visuals, yes. Each effect can be turned on and off individually, but if it’s the whole mod you don’t like, you can just not download it! There’s nothing wrong with not liking it :)
