To me the Lattafa Fahkar bottle looks really great, admittedly have never had it so I don't know what it looks like in person but Lattafa especially makes some great looking bottles imo.

Once upon a time I mainly got my clones from DUA and Alexandria because they were the only ones around and in general you used to be able, during sale events, be able to get them at a bit under $40 for 35 ml with a crummy bottles. These days both both Alexandria and DUA have gone up in price and still have cheap bottles. Luckily Afnan and Lattafa have gotten into the same game but they have nice bottles, nice sprayers, their juice is just as good but, bottles come in 100 mld or more, and per ml they are 1/4 to 1/3 the price. Thanks for pointing out these great houses.

I can't agree. Most of the UAE clone house fragrances are too synthetic. Sure, Dua and Alexandria aren't high in naturals, but they tend to smell better.. That's just the way it is!

Man, I've learned a few things about frags since I've been delving into them, how many other things are important for some other than the scent itself. I never would've guessed that, but all the Frags reviewers talk about "presentation" how the bottle looks, what it's made of, the quality of the package/box the fragrance comes in, how robust and good the atomizer functions (and it def should despense the juice:) For me though, it's ALL about the smell:) clones/dupes/counterfeits are never a problem for me, so long as they hold-up and truly smell a 1-for-1

Im the same. Couldnt care less about the bottle as long as the atomizer is good enough quality that it doesnt stop working. I Only care about the smell, how long it lasts, how far it projects.

Well, my exp is different... I've had almost all of clones.. and there are rare clones, that are soo good that i dont want Og.. Most of them were replaced by OG.. Amber Oud colection is worthy and its still in my colection. Perlador too.. but Fakhar isnt..its replaced

@@dusanradojevic6255 Yeah, I get that too, I guess because like most things as time goes things kind of improve (some of the time). For example, you've prob been into frags several years I'd bet, but me not even 6-moths yet. Before that my parents and/or wife might buy me a bottle for some occassion. Now that I buy what I'm interested in, on clones I've only went with the ones most say is the best, like Al Haramain stuff and a few Armafs, so far so good the ones I've bought.

I got fakhar edp and the alcohol smell is overpowering and doesn’t leave. I’ve used it maybe five times trying to like it, but the alc smell hurts my nose for hours

I have to say i didnt jump on the savauge elixir/asad hype train as licorice scents are a no for me...then i tried asad and was shocked its really nice, that led me to try elixir and it is close. I also like the added vanilla note in asad. While i love elixir for me its so loud even with light sprays its very situational for me to wear, the women at work hated it...but they love when i waer asad. Its more mild. Not gonna lie i love the strength of elixir but if i want to wear that scent dna and not have it punch fragrance sensative people in the face asad is my go to

I really think it has something to do with logistics and availability. Here in Malaysia The tux or Tabac only cost like RM110. That's equivalent to somewhere 23-25 dollars only so does other Maison Alhambra and Lattafa top perfumes. Really sucks that you guys have that kind of price there.

Khamrah has made Angel's Share obsolete to me. The only part of AS I like is the opening, knowing the dry-down is rather generic and uninspired. Khamrah has that opening, with added cinnamon and dries down to a beautiful vanilla base that easily lasts 15+ hours on my skin and more than three weeks on my clothes

Just saw video from a reviewer who says a a fragrance called Montage Intense is a much better clone of Angel's Share then Khamrah . It is on sale at Triple Traders at only $30, so pulled the trigger even though I love Khamrah . Love Angel's Share DNA , so took a gamble at $30.

The collar smells like a mix of Khamrah and Vanille Exclusif despite me using several other fragrances. They're just that long lasting.

Smh he's saying 3 weeks later when he goes to wear it again, he can still smell it. if you have a lot of clothes you would have understood what he was saying. Lol, I'll wear something once, I'll hang right it back up in my closet. Becuse unless you're a child, have a perspiration issue, or do not have very good hygienic habits. There no reason you need to wash your clothes after you wear it once. I won't wear the same clothes for weeks sometimes months later. Often times I can still faintly smell the cologne I wore when I wore it last.

Try Purple Effect, Intro Aftermath and Velours Lolite. To me Velours Lolite is the best Side Effect clone. In fact I enjoy it more than the original because it has slightly more tobacco and vanilla in the composition. Got two bottles of this amazing clone.

Yes it's called Eau De Spice Extreme and it's not as good as the original unfortunately. I find there's way too much cumin in the clone which ruins the fragrance.

I've sold almost all of my clones and bought reall thing. I dont say that clones are bad, but OG is better in most of deals..

Can't go wrong with them middle Eastern clones.. Them lattafies, al haramains, afnans.. Good DNAs, good longevity and very affordable

Yeah… even if not 100% same… If you smell it, it smells great, you got reminded of the fragrance it’s “copying”… that’s it.. what do you need more? Paying many times less

Does anyone do clones of discontinued and sadly missed fragrances? Or do clone companies generally stop cloning when the original is discontinued, I wonder. I think I may have one or 2 but I don't know if they still make these dupes. I have Reyane Tradition Insurrection II Wild (a clone of Thierry Mugler Pure Havane) and I've just ordered Luxurious Night from Paris Corner's 'Pendora Scents' line (a clone of D&G The One 'Royal Night'). I'm sure that both of those originals are discontinued but I don't know if they discontinued, or still make, the clones, afterwards. Main point of bringing this up, though, is: God, I wish somebody would put out a clone/ dupe of Issey Miyake Noir Ambré! But I don't know if any of these companies ever work on something, AFTER it's been discontinued. My bottle is getting low. I've lways been curious about Bulgari Aqua Amara, as well. The remaining originals of these 2 now cost an arm and a leg off of resellers, on eBay. Far more than I am prepared to pay to get them.

Theres tons of layton reviews comparing all the dupes..amber oud ex is the highest quality 99% identical but its $60+ for 2oz so detour noir is basically less than a third+ amber oud

I don’t think fahkarr black is all that close similar yes and absolutely smells fantastic for the price but if you want the closest Y edp clone Madison alhambras Yeah! Is much closer IMO

Middle eastern perfumes refills when dried down always gives a vibes of unpleasant and cheap notes. Does this also ahppens on Branded Middle Eastern Perfumes sucah as Lattafa, FW, Turathi, Rasasi, Al Haramain, Armaf, etc? Thanks

Armaf Legesi...maybe I got a bad bottle...but that's nowhere near as good as the real one...Platinum Egoiste. Not even close. The scent is slightly similar, performance weak. But, others say it's great.

stephen, I too, at times had bad bottles but luckily my armaf legesi lives up to its legacy as a clone to Platinum Egoiste which I owned and wore around the year 1995-2000. Armaf legesi, imho, 95% accurate and it lasts as long as PE.I live in a trocpical climate country..cheers!
