I actually like musky oakmoss. I was confused as well when I tried it hoping it actually would be a solid one. It’s a solid fragrance but is definitely lacking the aventus core DNA. That being said, dossier does make some solid impressions, I am a fan of their BDC EDT clone and their BR540 clone and Tom Ford Tobacco Vanilla clone as well

Great video Ash! I think Mr. Burberry is highly underrated, and to this day I still love it. Why would Armaf clone a fragrance that is so cheap at discounters? Plus, fragcomm exiled it when it was released. Armaf is weird.

Armaf's lows are some of the lowest. This could be a top 100 list but it's safer to just avoid anything that people refuse to talk about. Sapil Bound was just atrocious when I got it. For the first month it smelled like melting plastic and cough syrup. Eventually it does turn into what it's supposed to clone but it was easily the worst thing I had ever smelled.

Aqva Amara is one of my all time favorite fragrances. I have 10-11 of the 50ml bottles, which I think should be a lifetime supply unless I start burning through a bottle every year. I just order the Paris Corner Amorist yesterday to see how that one smells. I wish this was reviewed earlier, but $28 in the trash isn't that big of deal. But I want to smell it with my nose first...

TK No. 4 is one of my favorite scents ever. Hearing that FW butchered that clone isn't shocking at all, and I like FW. The OG walks a very fine line between being a wearable powerhouse and being too much. So if one element of the clone was cheapened or out of line I could see it going off the rails really fast😂

the best alternative to Colonia Oud" brown bottle " is definitely TOY BOY. strange they never get compared, but the again Colonia Oud doesn't really get talked about.

A friend bought Tag Him recently. He paid way too much for it. And it is very synthetic. He bought it based on him personally sampling it. To each his own.

Al Haramian L’Aventure the opening, mid and dry down, smells like lemon bathroom cleaner. Tried wearing several times over the past year. The results never changed, maybe it was a just a bad batch.

I avoid them for the most part. These houses just aren’t consistent in terms of likeness and quality. By the time you’ve collected several of the same fragrance that’s attempted to be cloned you could very well have bought the real thing. Personally I try to stick with reputable designers that offer a product that’s in the same vein of what could be out of your price range. Missoni as mentioned is a great example of that

I know this is a hyped clone , but I personally cannot stand the opening of Starman Nebula . It is way too screechy and loud . Even on the dry down , don't think it is all that close to Mugler Pure Malt . A much better option from Fragrance World is their Posh Malt which imo. is better blended and opening not as harsh as Nebula . I also do not get the hype for Armaf Craze. Smells very cheap to me , and gave it away the day after I got it .

I disagree on the After Love. It smells sweet and burnt and cotton candy'ish, with a lot of saffron, at the same time, it's nuclear! I sprayed it while I'm in my room, and my mom in the other room shouted at me about my fragrance. (Both doors open). I don't smell alcohol actually.
