Hi, I’m Toby. I’m a UK-based content creator and I use my platform to educate, laugh, and shed light on my life as a blind man. Myself and my girlfriend, Natalie, try and bring authentic content and my channel will be another way of me to document my life.

This is just what I needed. I can so relate. I was born with RP which made me considered legally blind, although I could “see,” it was nowhere near normal. Fast forward to 2018, I was diagnosed with end stage kidney disease after noticing my eyesight going a bit. I can still see, but it’s nowhere near like before which was also quite tenuous. My favorite questions are what you mentioned and I also noticed how Ill-prepared folks are in healthcare when it comes to dealing with folks who are blind or visually impaired. I had one shout at me when I told her I was blind and had to say: “I’m not deaf, just visually impaired.” None know how to properly guide visually impaired folks. The list goes on and I know they are all things you are well aware of. Finally nice to meet someone who gets it, even if you are across the pond. 😂

Just watched you on South Today, excellent! Two questions: (1) Why did you stop posting KZfaq videos over a year ago? (2) Why do you think Q10 is stupid? I think it's a very valid question Subscribed in the hope you produce more content on here.

If you’re like me, deep diving online to learn all you can about blindness, know you’re not alone. What is inevitably bound to be your journey too is peculiar to try and reconcile. I am blind in one eye, having amblyopia for as long as I can recall. As my vision takes a turn for the worst I’m trying to face my biggest fear, not being able to see. Thank you for educating the masses, inspiring to see you take life by the horns and make the best of your situation. Cheers from Southern California 🪬

Fabulous video. Can I ask how many seconds you can stand on one leg without any external feedback ? With both eyes open I can manage a minute, with eyes closed it’s less than 3 seconds. This is how I start my VI archery workshop as an ice breaker.

I have dyspraxia and it can’t be treated. But I still go out and do things. It’s hard when people say oh you don’t have anything wrong with you. They just look at me and think nothing is wrong. Judge before they get to know me. X

To answer your question to number 6 I lost vision in my right eye when I was two years old due to meningitis. As it happened at a very young age this is all I've known seeing out of one eye. So probably say I would stay the same. 😊 brilliant videos as always dude. 👏🏼

I’m autistic and I have chronic fatigue/pain. I’d lose my pain and fatigue tomorrow but I’m quite happy to be autistic, I think it has pros as well as cons!

When asked this I told them unfortunately, my disability didn’t check my ID. 😂

Since RP is hereditary and if a doctor told you that hypothetically there’s a 50/50 chance that your child would also have RP, would you still have a child knowing what you know?
