Wrestling used to be the Wild West and depending on the territory or town they were in, the wrestlers could get away with almost anything. They were walking gods in certain areas. The only real reason that it doesn’t happen as much today is because the current generation learned (mostly) not live the party wild lives of the past and also anything they do is being broadcasted on social media.
