Several people either already knew or at least had a solid suspicion before that Raw was aired. Supposedly Vince learned the truth during the show but it was too late to change it. Whether Chris did it or not is up for debate (though the prevailing opinion is he did it, but like many murders and celebrity deaths, there are unanswered questions and contradictory evidence).

in re Benoit... I could have sworn there were a couple of guys who out right said in the "Tribute show" that Post-Eddie they'd find him in the corner of the Locker room doing the 1000 yard stare... or he'd lose focus in conversations... But because he was always 'stoic' they chalked it up the intersection of that stoicism and the Loss of Eddie; rather than a case of "the quiet kid told me not to come to school tomorrow" -- as an outside observer especially with the power of hind sight it's easy to see something was happening... but for the guys who knew him 5-10-15 years how many of them even if they weren't too busy with their own domestic issues and grief would do the math and even entertain the idea that their friend was capable of that

Other plane rides from hell have happened long before the most famous one. And they have happened since. Wrestling used to be the Wild West and depending on the territory or town they were in, the wrestlers could get away with almost anything. They were walking gods in certain areas. The only real reason that it doesn’t happen as much today is because the current generation learned (mostly) not live the party wild lives of the past and also anything they do is being broadcasted on social media.

I'm still trying to figure out how Benoit managed to tie the steel cable into a noose. First he would've had to prop enough weight up on machine using one hand to put the chuck key back in. Then create tie and get the cable to stay in the right position around his thick neck with the cloth. Then pulling the chuck which would've taken some effort. He decided to do all that instead of something easier like pills, crashing a car or jumping off a roof?

@@TuriyanGold That makes sense if he was able to get enough slack and get his head in a loop pulled through the looped end. Even if the improvised loop was in the right spot, he would've had to choke himself for several minutes, without fighting back. No idea if it was going to kill him or leave him severely injured. He could've stood up and not gone through with it. Some accounts describe him as being, "slumped" so his full weight wasn't suspended. Faster, less drawn out ways to go.

I don't agree that we should not utter a word about Benoit's career and only ever talk about the murders. Talking about his career doesn't automatically mean glorifying his career. The murders don't exist in a vacuum, and without his career the murders never happen. Ignoring the past doesn't make it go away; we must acknowledge and learn from what happened or we will continue repeating our same tragic mistakes.

Why do you think Benoit hung himself? As a final FU to the world and to avoid justice? Or because he 'came to' after a bout of early onset dementia he suffered from putting his all into his art, and then recognised what he had done in a moment of clarity? I have my opinion and that's why I can still respect Benoits talent and commitment. It's not evil to remember Benoit in the ring as if it's also condoning murdering your own family. In my opinion only, of course. I'm afraid similar could come to anyone with cte/brain damage/deterioration/dementia and pray it does not.

8:15, let's just make this clear: The author of this video is overcompensating because he does not want to get cancelled or demonetized.

No way. He truly believes everything he said. Simon Miller has no wife or kids, is an athiest, is very far left politically, and classifies himself to be an intellectual. Most people who possess these traits are very much tied to the hip of the LGBTQ community. Maybe next time try not to sound like a dungus when you post a comment on youtube.

Simon..... Some folks are just awful. Deliberately and intentionally. Some stuff isn't obscure and it's important to not bury that fact. That's all. You're a good dude Simon

Booker T always got louder pops than Hogan, Mr 'racist to a T' only to apologize when he was caught. Remove the clown from the HOF, HOF shouldn't have a place for a racket Mark.
