Family summer vacation 2021. In our family, summer vacation means packing the tent and heading outdoors. This year, we wanted to go to the mountains. The question was just how to get there. With the Delta variant of the COVID-19 virus spreading rapidly through Norway, public transport didn’t really tempt us.
Living without a car, we would have to get there under our own steam. Our goal simply became to ride to the mountains with our dog while avoiding high-traffic roads as best we could. Things went rather smoothly half way around our loop, but then our luck seemed to have come to an end.
