I was recently out sick from a terrible bout of Covid in college for a week and a half. When I came back no one asked where I was, what happened, or if I was okay. In fact, my seat got stolen in one class. It really hurts to come to the stark realization that the world will turn just as easily without you. No one loves you outside your parents or partner, it's just the harsh truth. That's why you have to learn to live for yourself.

For thought she is on his mind, what he really wanted was the Handsome Indian Stranger who offered him the apartment. He was really attracted to that hot Indian scammer. This reminds me of the time I was trapped inside of a service elevator. I thought it was a normal elevator, but it had a card swipe unlock pad on it. I thought that was for unlocking inaccesible service floors (i.e. basement), but oohh noo, far worse...the second the doors shut, the elevator is locked. Can't go up, down or reopen doors on the SAME floor without card access that I didn't have. Needless to say, I called the police to get my raggedy behind out of there. Luckilly a serviceman casually opened the elevator to do his work and I ran out.

I once left for a journey without informing anyone. I was travelling from Chennai to Jaipur. My 1.5 days journey turned into 5 days long after my RAC train ticket got cancelled and the train left me in the middle of nowhere. I wasn't carrying enough money with me. I requested TC to shift me to the sleeper class but he didn't agree. I was barely 20 -21 years old. This was my first long journey. This happened before mobile phones were popular so I had no means to inform my family as I wasn't carrying a mobile phone with me. I did 2500 kilometres long journey by walking, asking for lifts, through buses and intercity trains. I was good at geography, this helped me a lot in finding the route. I was just travelling to the north hoping to find something that can get me to Rajasthan. I walked the dense forests of MP on my feet. Can you believe this? I even met goons dancing with their guns on the streets of Jabalpur and Bhopal.

Edit: So it’s been cleared up to me that the voice actor, who has his own channel, (Deep Dark Boys) is not the owner of this channel, but works with a team to make these videos, and does have room for individual creativity, such as the jokes that are made and such.

@@mundanemonday7091 He could have easily suffocated in the smoke. Plus there would have been plaster and insulation, and the floor, all of which are flammable. Most buildings in the UK are built from bricks and concrete too, didn’t stop the grenfell fire. An entire apartment complex went up in flames because the builders had skimped on fire resistant materials. Plus when fires get bad things like metal can burn, and metal fires are really dangerous. Just because bricks and mortar can’t burn, that probably won’t be enough to stop a fire spreading.
@pbe6965
@pbe6965 2 жыл бұрын
@@leocervidae plaster isn't flammable and was even used for crude fireproofing around wood beams in the past :) It traps water when curing which is released when heated, which slows down the fire (the building would still burn in the end, though, once all the water has evaporated). In Paris it is still mandatory to use plaster for repairs in old buildings, instead of concrete or other fillers which wouldn't provide that bit of protection. Insulation are usually made from rock or glass and don't burn either. But paint and furniture will burn, so it's still a bad idea ^^ Aren't these modern high buildings made of reinforced concrete too ? But maybe not all the inside walls.

I like the story line because it's random, like reality is. Also that there's no moral for the same reason. The main character simply returns to his favorite restaurant and eats a meal he probably dreamt of while being captured. Only downside I could think of was that he had to find an apartment so quickly. You can let the story linger and just give a subtle explanation that time went by. Finding affordable housing takes time and it would make it more assumable he would agree with the shady housing setup. Also I think it is beautiful that it gave an honest look at India with all it's beauty and extremes. Like the lavish but abandoned building with the building attendant that couldn't read the sign the leading character made on a piece of cardboard.

The actor (Rajkumar Rao) is perhaps one of the best if not the best actor I've ever seen. People may recognize him from "The White tiger". For anyone interested here are some of his other brilliant movies...... Omerta- my man gives the most realistic performance as a terrorist. His mere presence is enough to give you chills. Shahid- no person exist who wont cry in the end Newton- dont let the name of the movie deceive you Kai po che- a perfect balance of coming of age and what communalism can do to the society. You'll cry this one out too Chittagong- dude plays a teenage revolutionary. Keep those tissues ready Aligarh- a tragic gay romance. Prepare to cry more Judgemental hai kya- a psychological thriller Stree- a perfect blend of horror comedy. (For the sake of variety. Laugh a little as you've cried your fair share)

@@rananjay2389 well its understandable, those movies made next to nothing at the box office and being an outsider he had to resort to money grabbing masala movies or his career would've been over! But I'm sure he will keep dropping such masterpieces every now and then 👍

When buying a home, make sure you keep your keys with you or make sure you keep the door unlocked and open. Change the lock so it could open from the inside.

Isn't tht regulation already in many places? I have never come across an apartment that can't be opened from the inside accidentally by just having the door close on you (and even then many can still be opened from inside while only locking outwards). But I guess it made sense that the building was still fighting off construction regulations haha
