I was wondering if they'd put it on the list. With some creativity you could be able to use such a spell to kill somebody. For example you levitate him high up and then drop him to the ground or you levitate him into space so he couldn't breathe anymore. Or you levitate his shoues, which will turn him upside down and then you drop him on his head...

The spell is not that powerful. Unless you've got something decently heavy but not too heavy (otherwise you wouldn't be able to perform the charm) it's pretty useless in an offensive term.

The elder wand didnt recognise voldamort as its master so when they cast their spells the wand rebounded the killing curse because it refused to kill its real master then the disarming curse hit and harry aquired the wand. Smfh mabye read the book first

No you didn't understand, when you do a clash and let's say you do avada kedavra. When you lose the clash your spell and the spell that was casted by your enemy are reflected on you.That's why Voldemort died. If he didn't do avada kedavra or any other spell that kills you he wouldn't have died

The most dangerous spell is protego diabolica. It was used by grindelwald in the climax of the 2nd fantastic beasts. It creates a flame and if touched by any enemy of the caster they would die. It also acts likes a fiendfyre but a 100 times most powerful. If it wasnt stopped it would have destroyed all of Paris. This is another reason why Grindelwald was more powerful than Voldemort.

Well, I think part of it has to be that of conscious thought, like you have to want it to happen. As for the wording part of the spell, it probably has to be something associated with what you want to happen.

Adarsh B S Oh even Crucio can be escaped. Bellatrix escaped Harry's, then she gave him a tip. Anyway, the Cruciatus Curse cannot directly kill. The Longbottoms are exposed to the curse for a LONG TIME and by FOUR CASTERS (Bella, Rodolfus, Rhabastan, and Barty Jr.) but they are still alive. Even Harry and Hermione experienced the curse.

Overlord Ghs the spell's main purpose is to deliver a single clean cut. That's the way it was written in the books for years. Crucio on the other hand causes excruciating pain which can easily send someone into cardiac arrest, cause a heart attack, etc.

it's never said what it does, the thing is that she kneeld and passed out. Hermione managed to silence Dolohov, it's stated if not for the silence, the curse would have killed her, Dolohov casted the curse non-verbally .

u can block avada kevavera or whatever lmao, u can block it with objects, like in the books, where dumbledore and voldemort have fight, dumbledore blocked the killing curse with the golden stature in the ministry. so u can block it, but not with typical blocking spell or a counter
