I live in AZ and saw his act at ASU. Not only was he a menace on the field, but the school had to deal with three settlements..one for him punching and breaking a students jaw in a pickup game of basketball, one for punching a girl in a nightclub because she slapped him for grabbing her ass, another for injuring yet another student in a on campus fight. He was part of the Dennis Erickson crime wave and because of his reputation no NFL team would touch him except the bengals. Dude is said to be bi polar but doesn’t take his meds because they made him gain weight and become passive.

I would also include former Packer defensive end Charles Martin, for his after-the-play bodyslam of Bear quarterback Jim McMahon in 1986 onto his throwing shoulder, which put him out for the remainder of that season. It was made even worse by the fact that Martin was wearing a towel on the front of his pants that listed the uniform numbers of Bears' stars, such as McMahon, whom he intended to put out of the game.

Need a video like this for Zaza Pachulia in the NBA. He has entire lowlight videos of him blatantly attempting to injure star players, and had like 45 total flagrant fouls. People forget that the Spurs were posing the 2017 Warriors their first threat that entire playoffs - and were kicking their asses - when Zaza immediately put an end to it. It’s honestly absurd, they were undefeated in the playoffs and Zaza Pachulia just couldn’t handle even facing a challenge for 1 entire game… And Tony Parker (16ppg that playoffs) was out for the playoffs too!

I've always thought that if you injure another player on a dirty hit (one that draws a flag), that the fine assessed to the offending player should be paid, in cash, to the victim. Add a little humility to the penalty. And also, if the injured player misses any games, the offending player should miss the same number of games without pay.

Butkus backed down when Greene offered to fight him right on the field. Interestingly, they’re all in the NFL Football Hall of Fame. That’s the way football was played in their day.

Roided out of his mind. Basically had that huge body coming out of high school. Kicked off the team at Nebraska. Kicked off the team (without playing a game) at Oregon. Stomped opponents. Ripped helmets off opponents. Dirty as they come. Almost as dirty as the top 2 or 3 on this list. Him & Burfict are the modern poster boys for "dirty".

As far as James Harrison, he literally went from defensive player of the year to enemy #1 in one season. All because the NFL were hiding knowing about concussions and then couldn't hide it anymore. It just feels tragic to me that he got glorified and then vilified in just one season's time.
@thecensoredmuscle563
@thecensoredmuscle563 2 жыл бұрын
That's because Harrison started injuring guys from late hits. I like head hunter but it serves no purpose to head hunt a qb after already throwing the ball. The fun of head hunting is doing it when someone is coming from at you and you blow them back. Not when they are not paying attention and already threw it.

they werent listing the toughest, meanest, greatest and strongest. joe greene wasnt a "dirty" player which means hurting people on purpose, and cheating. joe was mean but clean. the best defensive tackle of all time, but simply not a dirty player at all. he wouldnt have made a top 5000 list of "dirty" players. he elbowed a few guys in defense of teammates. he made hard but legal tackles.

Alot of hard hitters and head hunters were nice guys off the field, because alot of hard hitters get their anger, rage and emotions out on the football field. So off the field they're all relaxed, cool, calm and collected.

I thought Burfict would be number one. Then again, I never watched Romanowski play or if I did, took note of him. For years before anyone else mentioned it, I thought Burfict's hit on Antonio Brown was the one that changed him. It turned AB into a monster. It's either CTE or prefrontal lobe damage. And you know what's funny? Burfict and AB are friends.

The only player to hit many guys with no remorse was Jack Tatum. He's the only guy to hit Daryl Stingley so hard that he paralyzed him til his death. He once said that he wouldn't apologize for the way he played football. So addicted to hitting and hurting guys that he couldn't wait to go out on the field to see who would be his next victim. He ate it like candy 🍬
