My mother’s first language isn’t English. I remember her ordering it one time at McDonald’s and calling it the, “McCrap” from her accent. I still to this day laugh at the incident.

@@WilliamEnclosure Bruh no lie we didn't have enough and that McDonald's is next to 3 apartment complexes. 1 was a project. Some dude also threatened to stab someone over the wait. And we couldn't keep up with the demand. First truck in we ran out same day we started. Not fun. Edit: I call one a project cause it's so bad they won't let anyone but minorities move in. For safety.

the McDLT was one of my favorite burgers as were the fish McBites. I totally agree that there should be a way to bring back the McDLT considering all the advances we have today but since when does a corporation ever listen to customers

MCD blamed their demise on the damn 2020 virus. I think they just wanted to get rid of it anyway and found a convenient excuse. I mean you’re right it was greasy and had a full days worth of calories, but it was soooo good.

Loved them too. I used to work late and would buy them after and then they introduced their stupid Late Night menu and certain menu items like the wings were not served after midnight. Then not too long after the discontinued the wings.

#1 Original Fries. McD's fries were insanely awesome pre-1990 when they were cooked with beef fat. Widely regarded as the best fries ever, anywhere, because it is true. They should bring those back.

Better than kfc wing and double the size. When they brought it back for a brief period to get rid of excess inventory I was eating it 2 time a day. Super good.

Bring back the STEAK EGG AND CHEESE BAGELS! Wisconsin had them up until the pandemic hit (they blamed its removal on it, and called it their "reduced" breakfast menu..) but they never returned. I think its more that most McDonalds employee's can't count higher than 2, so they can't risk another sandwich or menu item where the employee has to assemble too many items on one sandwich.

I LOVED,LOVED the McDLT. I was in high school and that thing was amazing, the produce stayed cold and crisp. Made the burger taste so much better. Hell I liked a lot of these items, I feel old when they say what year it was when they stopped.

McDonald’s was selling hot dogs, plain and boiled, in Florida sometime during the 1970s. Sometime later, they used to have banana shakes, my favorite, blue button on the machine. And I remember when I could still have strawberry sundaes, also my favorite.

McDonald’s needs to bring back: mighty wings, snack wraps, the different salads, the different chicken sandwiches with the option for grilled chicken, the chicken strips they used to sell, steak egg and cheese bagel sandwich

Want to know the real reason the McDLT failed? Here's the skinny: Yes, the McDLT was indeed marketed on how great their two-part container supposedly was, designed so the beef stayed hot and the lettuce and tomatoes stayed crisp and fresh. This concept seemed to make sense until someone suddenly realized, "Hey! Isn't that how hamburgers are supposed to be served?" See, McEDS wanted folks to think this burger was 'special' because it didn't get cold and soggy quickly, like the other substandard garbage they sold. Once everyone realized they were paying more money for a mediocre sandwich in an environmentally unfriendly container, they lost interest. And I'm pretty sure Jason Alexander would prefer nobody ever spoke of that commercial again; it was something he looks back on now as something dumb he did when he was young. And great video, again.

Hmm,pretty sure you have no knowledge about burgers.The original hamburger is still sold the same way as is.No toppings!The first commercial hamburger chain White Castle still serves up the same burger as in the 19 twentys.A burger topped with a garden was never thought about in this time.The early McDonald’s burger had pickle,mustard,ketchup onion.Salad burgers did not arrive until far later.

McDonalds has to bring back the Grand Mac with fresher beef, The McRib, The Arch Deluxe, The McDLT , The Angus Half Pounders, The Big n Tasty, The Chicken Fajita Flatbread Sandwich, The Mc Hot Dog, The Mc Chili Dog, The McPizza, The Mighty Buffalo Chicken Wings, The Chicken Selects Strips, the Salad Shakers, the supersize fries with less salt , less oil and more drinks, deserts, plus the fried apple pies, fried blueberry pies, fried peach pies and fried cherry pies. And then McDonalds needs to make all day lunch as well, if they can make all day breakfest, McDonalds should give the customers everything they loved about their food and stop messing with our favorite menu items in 2020 and beyond.

Most of these food items I never even heard of before. I only knew about the hot dog one. When I went to the Philadelphia Zoo back in early June of 1999. I live just an hour away from the zoo. I was 19 at the time. And right inside the zoo there was a McDonald's. And one of the food items you could get there is hot dogs. I didn't get that because I wanted my favorite McDonald food item at the time. Which was a quarter pounder. But I was really surprise to see that McDonald's was selling something like that. But that was almost 21 years ago. Now I will never eat anything that comes from McDonald's. Since I think their food is total garbage now.

The McRib JR. was the best! I remember eating it in April 2001 on the “new tastes menu”. Smaller McRib patty on a regular hamburger bun with bbq sauce and pickles and diced onions.

Most of these, I haven't tried or even heard of. That Spanish bagel thing looks amazing! I have tried the McDLT and it was OK. I remember hearing that McD employees hated it when people pronounced it "Mick Dilt". HA! Just like Apple employees hate it when people refer to "Apple Watch" as "Apple iWatch". (How can you blame them? Apple products are predominantly "iEverything".) I think McDLT could have survived if they made the thin cardboard/paper box that could open longitudanly and then laterally to put the parts together. One more fold and then it's easy to recycle. I have my own McFlurry spoon which I give to them every time. That's a lot of HDPE plastic to throw away every time. That's probably a good 10+ straws worth of plastic. A sad thing about McDonald's in Taiwan is that we only have "sweet-and-not-really-sour" sauce. There was one location that had the full set of dipping sauces to choose from for a short time, but it's nearly impossible to park there (and no drive-thru). I'm glad that filet-O-fish has lasted so long. I like that with "no sauce". Seems to mayo-like. Pizza Hut in Taiwan has something similar to the fish bites, but a little expensive and not every location has them. I hear ya: "shut up, Ray!!!" HAHAHA!!!! Great video as always, Babble Top!!! I remember the Filet O'Fish being served (burgers, & cheeseburgers too) in wax paper wrappers. I don't know why they don't do that now, seems more environmentally friendly than cardboard sandwich boxes. BTW: I Still miss the Grilled Ranch McWrap!

I worked at a McDonald's in Montreal-North, QC in the late 80s and in the 90s and I was there when the pizza came on the menu. It wasn't that bad to be honest because we prepped them multiple times a day. Family size was discontinued around 1994 and the personal size was around but in the end they were made in a factory and frozen and the taste was not the same. In fact it was worse. But I did make a family size one for Patrick Roy and his sons. Yes, that Patrick Roy back when he played for the Habs.
