In The Aristocats, in the scene where the cats cling to each other under the train rushing by on the bridge, you can see it clearly in the final animation where the animators purposefully drew them as more angular to express how frightened they are.

Exactly, if you look at the horns you can see the opacity was lowered and was colored digitally(using a digital program) as opposed to traditional coloring in the overall selfie drawing. The horns aren't event connected to the female's head properly, it actually made me laugh.
