As long as you are doing Dollar Tree stuff...I super glued 2 -8 inch pieces of pool noodle together. It makes a great place to put your cups/glasses on.

Great Video! My son and his girlfriend just got a place of their own, and I've been trying to figure out how to make them some homemade goodies I work with sublimation & Vinyl, was having a hard time finding Polyester pot holders in White (Sublimation doesn't print white), I am now going with the Heat Transfer Vinyl, so I am not limited on fabric type or color :) (Because we all know white is not a great color for a kitchen anyway!) And I'm going to do the chopping board too and make them up a housewarming box to send to them, Also plan on sending in their box "His and Her" type pillowcases,hers will have a picture of her and their Beagle Pup they got from me in July, His with him and the puppy, so their box is going to be filled with both Sublimation and Vinyl homemade goodies from Mom :D And their Cutting board will have the same saying because my son would rather get take out than cook when the fridge and cabinets are full of food LOL

About mugs... um... I like to see the design on my mugs when I'm drinking from them. I don't care if the rest of the room can see it, quite frankly. I guess I'm different? 🥰 I'm loving watching your videos. Hubby and I are just getting started "being friendly" with our Cricut Explore machines. He has an Air 2 and I have an Air (1). We bought mine back in 2016 and recently someone gave us the other one... which reminded us that we have mine. LOL We have so much to learn and we are so grateful that you're here to help us! One "tip" I have for people who are intimidated by the Design Space area... I've worked with Photoshop since 1999. Until the other day, I felt overwhelmed with Cricut Design Space. And then, as I was watching someone's video, it struck me that Design Space has many of the same things in it as is in Photoshop... just in different places. So, if you've ever worked with any "layer" type of software, it might help you to get beyond the confusion if you relate Design Space to it and understand that you only have to learn where things are to know how to use them. Hope that helps someone. 😇

Great video! I'm glad you demonstrated the coffee mugs and wine glasses. I can't wait to try out these ideas. One question though, I have extreme difficulty getting the vinyl to stick to the transfer paper. Do you have any suggestions?

You will want to make sure you really squeegee the vinyl onto the transfer tape. I would also look into a slightly stronger transfer tape as maybe your current one isn't strong enough.

Dollar tree also sells a transfer tape I’m smaller rolls and full length rolls and it’s actually really good and you can use it over a few times sometimes you need to stick it to your pants or something to get some of the stickiness settled down

Love your ideas ~ one question though... We had a hard time trying to get the vinyl to stick to the dollar tree cutting board is there something I should put on the board to help it to stick? You make it quickly and for us it took forever!

@@DesignBundles I did my 1st water bottle today, it was towards the top. On the 2nd try I cut the first letter off & put it on separately. Help a lot! (If anyone wants to see I made a Short) Target has beautiful water bottles $1!
