I'm a lurker but I bought one of these the day the video came out. 24 hours after unboxing I'm dead set on buying a whole fpv setup. This drone exceeded my expectations, I went from slamming into the ceiling to flying it all over the house in about 10-15 batteries.

GREAT video! I just got this in the mail today. As a true beginner, I'd add: (1) learn outside so you don't hit the ceiling since there's no protection; (2) start learning over a soft surface like the yard not the driveway, (3) don't fly too high because it can hit hard coming down even in the yard. Also, this type of drone is a great learner drone since it does NOT have hover mode or the feature where the front and back change because it really forces you to learn flight direction and controls.

Just a quick FYI... The mode button top left appears to be a three-position toggle that increments the speed of the drone through three speed settings. The default is position 1, which is the slowest speed. Each press of the button will sound one, two, or three beeps indicating the speed, three being the fastest speed. An additional press cycles back to position 1 etc. Also, even though the accelerometer button, bottom left, does a great job of calibrating everything at start up or when a hard landing screws up the calibration. You have the option of recalibrating with the accelerometer button again or using the right stick toggle to trim the quad if you prefer. Pressing the right stick down beeps once and puts the quad into trim mode; moving the stick in the opposite direction of the drift will beep once for each increment of correction. Pressing the right stick down again toggles trim mode off. However, the easiest way to calibrate the quad is with the accelerometer button with the quad on a level surface. Pretty sophisticated for a $10 drone. Fun stuff, boy! 😎

this is how i started, i bought a cheap £23 mavic mini lookalike from banggood that came with 2 batteries, then recently got an SG906 pro. im thinking of getting into FPV maybe early next year.

Justin is one of the few tubers that I click the like before I even watch the video lol one thing for sure is that he has my quad collection growing 😄content is ALWAYS ON POINT! whenever I get the notification I'm like ahhhhh sh&#! what's he gonna have me buying today lmao! Definitely have to watch his vids if your new to fpv guys and gals SERIOUSLY!!!! He will get you right!!!!!!! AND IT WILL AND DOES CHANGE YOUR LIFE! FOR THE BETTER!!!!! I picked one up. I have a Mavic mini but I want to get into fpv so I decided to get one for throttle control and fine movement practice. £10 for 2 battery version with delivery.. how can you go wrong 🤷🏽‍♂️

It will get you up to speed before the Mavic mini! You’ll be very proficient. Harder to fly than the Mini!

We bought it and after a few days of trying a lot we are still far away from being able to hoover in one spot. The drift is so bad usually, that even maximum joystick movements cannot correct it. After every calibration the drift is different, very very rarely it´s not too strong and correctable. Throttle is extremely sensitive and in the end not really managable for us. The 3 speeds seem all the same. Fine tuning doesn´t work for us, but maybe something about it in the manual got lost through translation. Don´t know what to do, maybe we should try a bit better drone for this exercises, any recommendations? We have a mavic air 2, but really like the idea and suggestions of this video very much, just this model seems not to be the right one for us.

Karl. Skills my friend. It’s not the drone. Drift is up to you to control. Manual flying takes practice. Mavic flies for you. I’ll post another quad for you thats a little more stable.
