I am in the small and historic Doyers St, beside the Nom Wah Tea Parlor, considered the original dim sum spot of Chinatown. Almost across the street is Toy Apple Beauty Salon and Barbershop, which has a secret item on the menu... I hope you enjoy this one! ...Ask for the lovely and fun female barber May.

I’d also like to add for anyone in the area who might be reading this. These ladies can do the same exact blow outs that the higher end salons can do. And they do so without insane pricing or rushing you out so they can get to someone else.

So they just scam people with the Chinese ear cleaning scam ... what, as a side hustle? Never let anyone put anything inside your ear who isn't a medical practitioner. Also google scams in the area you're in before falling for these.

@@dr.lexwinter8604 your comment is ignorant. It's common for Asians to have their ears cleaned. Most of us have fond memories of lying in our mother's lap and her cleaning it for us. They usually just clean the outer part not too deep to prevent accidental perforation of the tympanic membrane.

@@romaniagoh8146 exactly! I'm Kashmiri and I have so many fond and conforting memories of my mum cleanig my ears. I Introd my hubby into this (he isnt Asian) and he finds it so soothing. I never go deep inside though. I use ear drops for that. Think people are so judgy man

You represent the vast majority of decent Americans. I have frequented such "ear digging" whenever I visit my hometown in Malaysia and can tell your viewers that is is not something for the fainthearted; I winced each time she went deep into your ears. Some customers are so used to their regular ladies (near exclusively so) that they can fall asleep... something I can never do myself nor recommend! Keep up with your good work in fostering better relation between nations.

cleaning my ears is one of my extremely addictive pleasures. I even have a camera to see inside my ear canal. I’ve cleaned my ears every day my whole life and there is not a single spec of wax in there. I don’t care if it’s bad for me or not. It feels too good to stop!!

I’m amazed by the amount of wax removed from 1 ear and can see by your facial expressions exactly how good it feels. I MUST experience this procedure soon to examine my ears and evacuate years of built up wax deposits!

Your ears are supposed to clean itself out. You shouldn't have to clean them. In fact, it's the use of q-tips that causes build up, since it pushes the wax into the walls of the ear canal and sticks it there.

Jason, during the procedure you looked like you were going to either vomit or cry. It looked incredibly painful. I’m very glad that she was so thorough and expelled a lot of wax from your ears, but I’m not sure if I could take the pain. I’m sure it feels incredible afterwards. She’s seems like a very patient and friendly person. Beautiful smiles from all three women!!

I do this at home but without the tools, lay on your side, warm saline in the ear. 5 minutes, and then use a large basting syringe or ear cleaning syringe to flood the ear with a large amount of fresh saline. The pressure literally powerwashes the inside of your ear. It kind of sounds like when you jump into a pool. It gets SO much out all at once.

You are so genuine Jason, I would never doubt any of your content. I am a major germaphobe and worked in a hair salon for over 25 years of my life. I owned one for over 8 years of that time and know too much about sanitization to be able to do that, but more power to you I say! @@mrst159 I've had a personal experience with one of those bulbs and can tell you they get hot enough to heat food! I had one close to my skin for just a few minutes and my skin felt like it was on fire. I don't know how anyone could take having it on their face for that long.

It would be super interesting to have a closer look at what she is doing. Perhaps having someone else do the recording? There are some salons in Thailand, Vietnam & China that record their treatments w/ clients and get MILLIONS of views! They are some of my favorite videos to watch on KZfaq! I once read an article about this ancient Chinese technique: they use bamboo sticks and one has a hook (like a knitting needle), to remove the wax.

Did you end up gettin it done? I live in Nyc And Im gonna go by there in a week. First time seeing this. Im da type that neva has wax and my ex would see me clean my ears and say i neva have wax. But he would have so much and he would clean dem everyday after w shower lol

One time my ears were both itchy and it was driving me insane! I didn't have any qtips, so I grabbed my book of matched pulled one stick out an use the end of it not the match part, and bent it a little and scratched my ears softly and gently! And it felt goooood!

Hi Jason. Your earwax removal in New York Chinatown were taking care by an experienced earwax picker. $10 should be in US Dollars. In Singapore, earwax removal shop are less. From $30 - $36 at chinese massage shops. Mostly doctors at Ear Nose Throat (ENT) medical clinics does earwax removal. Can be pricey.

You must wear earphones a lot. I find when I wear mine I get more wax produced. I ended up buying an ear camera off of amazon and a cleaning tool set as well. I love these types of videos. It just looks so relaxing ! I wish I was closer to a place like this just to be able to try it

Wow brother I've never had that kind of wax build up. Maybe it's because I live on the Texas Gulf Coast where it's so hot and humid it just melts and runs out my ears. But I would love to go there and try this treatment.

My Mom used to say we were growing candles in our ears she would do similar to this when we were younger. Once a month we had our ears cleaned.
