Great list of tips for capturing video without relying on the “quick shots”. Feel like the editing software on DJI creates the same type of edit over and over again. Happy holidays to you and your family and can’t wait till the next video!

That was pretty good. At first the church looked like a Buddhist temple until you notice the crosses. But very nicely executed and well done. Your son did very well with the comic relief and the empty box, I mean prop, it’s a prop.

I didn't even think of that but drone footage does change what you can offer to put in one of those active/digital-picture-frames.

Lots of good tips but..... From a recent experience... Flying low and sideways is a very dangerous combination. During this part of the year when the trees have no leavs, just don't count on obstacle avoidence. Playing a little with the zoom and the position relative to the foto object easily changes from what's intended. Tilting the camera straight down to check is never wrong. It can be cut out of the final video. If flying this way make sure to have a clear and near view of the drone confirming the distance from the target.

Thanks I was about to ask him where this was filmed. I didn’t think it was Norway, which has a number of churches like this. I figured it was the US by looking at some of the houses in the background ..a beautiful church- if I’m ever in North Dakota, which is highly unlikely, since I live in California, I’ll drop by

Wow...the Ecoflow Delta is exactly what I got my wife. Surely helped after watching your Christmas Shopping guide. Thanks a bunch. Thanks for sharing the tips. Honestly I just fly for fun..and the view. Would taking pics or video and then presented as a gift require a p107? I would love to print some of my sunrises on t shirts and gift yet wary just for that reason. It;s a cool idea though. Have a great day!
@51Drones8 ай бұрын
Part 107 is only required if the intent of the flight at that time was for commercial purposes. If your intent when you use your drone to capture the photos for Personal use, and then you decide to use them and make money with them later, then part 17 is not required. It is all tied to your intent at the time of the use of your drone..

Cute way to sneak in an ad... If you have a good drone, Mavic 3, Mini 4 Pro, or any drone with a good camera you don't have to have editing skills if you plan your video well. Last year I did a video of our town's beautiful Christmas lights on the square at night. I launched from an empty parking lot and waited until in position to start the video and flew my preplanned route slowly in the tripod/ cine setting and got the video I wanted. I did some photos of the tree from different positions also. It didn't produce a professionally edited video naturally, but most didn't know the difference. I have noticed that there are 3 types of KZfaqrs, those who waste time creating TV show perfection, those who produce good videos, and those who don't have a clue and jerk the camera or drone around and do little or awful editing. Sadly, some of the latter, like "Mav" have over a million subscribers.

Hi Russ, How does one become a channel member?
@phoenixr68118 ай бұрын
Awesome❤ I hope all is well. I want to try these drone moves asap. Quick question would I need a part 107 license if I’m filming for my you tube channel? I plan on starting a garden and want to show the process of it and also show other garden in the community as well.
@51Drones8 ай бұрын
You only need it if your channel is monetized. Anything that you do before that you do not require part 107
