Kurt Cobain made more than just about anyone with simple chord progressions. Iconic songs that are excellent for newer players to gain confidence. Excellent video series.

a tip i learned recently (I am far from being able to teach I'm not a beginner but I'd consider myself a novice) instead of having your fingers 123 on the A chord play it 213 so your index finger stays on the same string throughout the song. made it much easier for me to transition between chords!
