Nicola - Business Tips For Success 🙌🏽🙌🏽 Beyond the mental health implications, the effects of being in a bad relationship can impact your health, particularly physically. One study found that being in a negative relationship puts people at a higher risk of developing heart problems (such as a fatal heart attack) than those in healthy relationships.

Preach man. I can get cocky sometime when my time is killing it and I admit that but what's worst is a toxic narc that doesnt do anything to pusht the team or project and just want to be negative and not grow. I know a few guys like that. Somehow we still chat, maybe I'm curious on what I can do to influence them for positivity

IMO it's not toxic people that are the worst. Those people exist, they'll never go away. What are you doing to surround yourself with the right people? What content do you consume and where to you find it? I used to have toxic people in my life, friends, family, coworkers, etc ... I consciously eliminated them from my life (or limited my exposure to them if that wasn't possible) and it's amazing how much more positive my outlook and overall attitude has become.

@@shaqmaverick i was like that too, believe me that getting cocky and ego will kill you, 3 days ago I finished the book "Ego is the enemy". Tremendous book. READ IT. I think its obligatory and more in todays world where we receive constant "advice". You will see an EXTREME difference. Today we receive constant likes and stuff that just feeds up or ego and makes us think that we deserve something, when we don´t. I encourage you to read it, it has changed my vision, mind and attitude. Hope it helps as much as it helped me.

I've spent the last 5 years working 70-90 hours a week building up my business and it's reputation in my industry. In my opinion the two worst things are complacency and the attitude that it's good enough. You have to constantly work to better your business, whether by gaining more customers, improving your employees or networking to increase your company's reputation. It is never good enough and you can always do better. No matter how good you are. I started out with an idea and a welfare check. Two years in I was earning less than I did on welfare but I had 5 employees and was getting new contracts every week. Yesterday I hired my twentieth employee and I need at least fifteen more. I'm by no means wealthy but I can support myself comfortably. He's right about nearly everything he says about business.

I have this conversation with my kids parents alot. I want my kids to fall on their face every once in awhile. I can then teach them how to overcome adversity and learn healthy coping mechanisms. It is an opportunity for them to evaluate themselves and see what they could change to be more successful in the future and to problem solve obstacles so that they can achieve their goals. So many people just want constant happiness, but adversity teaches how to fight for what we want if we allow it to.

I'm sure everyone's noticed that Patrick is full of energy and enthusiasm and obviously very clever. Now just compare that to the average guy and there's a huge difference. Many people simply do not have the brains, or drive to set up a business and then run it every day AND make it profitable. So Patrick could talk till he's blue in the face and many people will not move a muscle whatever good advice they're given So really to run a business, you've got to be clever and then you have to work at it. But having said that it's always better if your business has a unique selling point that there is a demand for and that can be a showstopper if there's not sufficient demand. I've run four businesses in the UK. All Limited Companies and loved doing it. The first one was in partnership with several other engineers and it never made much money at first, because we argued about too many things. I personally would never enter into another partnership. After that I started a Technical Recruitment Company and that did VERY well. At the same time I learned hypnosis and psychology on a two year part time course run by Manchester University in the UK and that did very well and also at the same time I bought and sold cars and had a breakdown recovery service At that time in 1999 I built my own website and sold MP3 hypnosis files using a Merchant Account and Visa Card. Clients downloaded my MP3 files for about $15 each and paid on line with their Visa Card. I had Anti-Smoking, Lose Weight, Tension Buster, Fear of Flying, Sleep and Golf MP3's. I got free publicity from the Daily Telegraph and my website really took off. At one point in the year 2000 it was taking about $350 every day. I had customers all over the world, but mostly from the USA, UK and Australia. That was all uploaded on a slow "dial up" internet connection and believe me that took lots of patience because it took me ages to upload the master MP3 onto my website. These days the same size file shoots up in seconds. Back then it took two hours and if it lost the connection it meant I had to start all over again. Drove me mad, but I persevered Oh, I could go on and on .................. It was a fascinating time back then Now I'm 73 and I retired here to Thailand in 2001. I've a wife and two kids and live by the sea. I'm not rich now, but I still keep busy every day. I do hypnosis with clients and I sell my paintings and do commissions. Only today I met a guy from the UK in a restaurant and it turns out he's just moved into a huge house and needs five or six very big paintings approx 5 foot square I've just finished a commission yesterday so the timing was excellent Even though I'm not a big drinker, I get myself around everywhere I can in order to network and it's amazing how things happen As Patrick says you've ALWAYS got to be accessible and speak the same language as the people you're dealing with. Patrick touched on so many things in this video that make sense He's definitely worth spending the time listening to even if you already have a business Kind regards and good luck to all of you from Chris in Thailand WWW.100Temptations.com

Selecting a language and socializing are different things. Socializing is about rapport and people with asperger or autism spectrum have a difficulty with socializing. A way out for high functioning pèople with this issue is to mask behaviors. It is not that they are fake as a person, is that they need to mask traits to keep the connection up. Think of translating from computer signals to ethernet signals.
