Actually in the past we used red for wine but not with word we usually use today "crveno", but our old words for red "rujno" or "rumeno" which can be seen in our epic poetry.

We always use sestra and brat for cousins in Russian. We add sometimes the word dvoiurodnyi brat or dvoiurodnaia sestra for clarity to show that we mean our cousin and not a sibling.

How interesting! My grandma is Ukrainian and she calls me a fish too ("ryba" in our language). It's used in the same sense as Serbian "duša".

As far as I know that shirt tearing should be done only by males who want to have child of their own in the near future. So according to that you should keep part of the new father's shirt and it will bring you luck in your child making efforts :D
@miodrag0078
@miodrag0078 Жыл бұрын
Although it is a pleasure for everyone, hardly anyone knows exactly why it is done. There are several theories as to why this is a custom, and the oldest one says that before, until women gave birth in the hospital, babies were swaddled in a wardrobe, and the best quality were men's shirts. Another story is that this is how a man conveys happiness to a man and that a man who rips a new father will also give birth (for example, as a bride throws Biedermeier to women, so that the one who catches it will marry after her). One of the most accepted theories is that over time every shirt gets thinner and frayed. That's why every new shirt represents new strength, and that's why, when a child is born, neighbors, friends and relatives rush to tear with the words: "Let's tear this one, many more to change, you and your child will have new strength and intelligence, as long as you are alive and well."

na Havaje, Kubu, Novi Zeland, na Novi Beograd, na Taru, na Kopaonik. Altitude is the key, and u (in) Beograd, Mađarsku, Meksiko they are flater, na slici because it is a surface and not a hollow object.
