Beanies or Toques are rarely talked about but are worn (at least in the north parts, like here in Toronto) for a big part of the year. And they definitely have their own 'trends". Like few years back it was all about the slouchy Beanie. This year it's more "Herschel" stands up beanie. Alot of fashion channels talk about bags and shoes and jewelry, ect..but not to many talk about hats/beanies/toques ..what to put on your head that looks stylish/trending but also warm.

YES to the bold lips! Sporting my bright red lipstick today. For anyone who thinks red doesn’t work for them, I encourage you to figure out your undertone. I always used to try reds with bluish undertones (looking at you MAC Russian Red). It made me look sickly. Finally figured out, despite my paleness, I have warm undertones. Orangey or yellow reds look amazing. My favorites are MAC Lady Danger and Besame Red Hot Red. Hope this helps someone out!

One thing that is very very essential for me is a statement neclace, earings and/or bracelet. It lifts any of my outfits. Another essential for me is a belt. It can transform (almost) any outfit

I always feel I that look frumpy in cardigans, except for the cropped ones. It makes a huge difference if one can see some shape around the middle of the body, as with these. I’m on the shorter side, so many cropped styles are perfect on me, just covering the waistband of my bottoms (skirt or trousers). My rule is they must end at or above my hip bones, ideally at the waist. Long, duster styles are ok, too, but they don’t feel as fresh as they did a few years ago. I love your videos, Anna, thanks.

Wow!!! I have ALL of these items in multiples and most of them I've had for years, a few even decades. So gratifying to know my existing wardrobe is in style.

I love wide legged and straight legged jeans. When styling you have to keep proportions and balance in mind. I also like to show off my shoes so cropped wide/straight legged pants look and work better for this. Skinnies are good for wearing with knee high boots.

I Love long skirts and dresses in the winter.🥰

Shackets are definitely big in Canada right now. The oversized flannel/plaid patterned shirt jacket look with skinnies or leather leggings.

Still looking for the perfect shade of lipstick. I want to find a dark orangey toasted pumpkin type of shade that is a couple shades away from burgundy but is definitely more on the orange side rather than the purple side of the spectrum.

I love the new jean styles! I still wear my skinny jeans but usually with combat boots and an oversized sweater. I have straight leg, joggers, mom jeans, wide leg cropped and full length and also a pair of high waisted flares that look cute with sneakers and flats. It is fun to mix up the jean shapes since I live in jeans!! Give the new stuff a try a now, because these more relaxed shapes will be around for years!

I I brought like crop/ at waist cardigan with puffed sleeves and got so many compliments on it I just wore it alone and it has been great

Anna, love your chunky heel blacks boots and your black cardi. As for me, I stumbled on a closet cleanout BONUS: three pairs of jeans that are essentially brand new and should fit me great since I am now down several lbs . Had stuck them back because one pr ran small and the other two are long length and require heels - which I could not wear before. But that is no longer the case. So I am up three prs of jeans and have saved both time and money! Well worth the time it took to go through and clean out and donate some other things.

Classic button down in a nice fabric definitely a must, I personally like the softer material. Cannot do cardigans, I have a large chest and makes me feel I’m bigger. Like the idea of a color , hard for me to get there. Love a red lip if you could rock do it ! Always loved the boot cut and wide legs, I’m not a fan of the skinny jeans because I’m too heavy I have a hard time styling it. Excellent video, so happy your on more often!

I've got all of your suggestions. I did recently buy a red and a black cardigan from Amazon after watching you mention your black cardigan with lots of metallic snaps in front, nice thin comfortable fabric, good over camisoles or under blazers. Not keen on wearing my sparkly stuff during the day. Won't go wider than bootcut jeans, tho. Sam Edelman combat boots are way more comfortable than doc Martin's. One thing to add that I love wearing in cold weather- shearling jackets and small rabbit or alpaca neck warmers. Glamorous look, but I have to be careful where I wear them, so I don't get robbed!

I (60-year-old) gone through a lot of change up in style so you not telling anything new on going back to the boxes and reevaluating items you have not worn for a while to see if they will work for you during the relates current season. The long cardigans work better for me because of the large chest cover majority of my top portion. The bold color is something I am going to try to implement into my cold weather dressing this season because I do suffer from cold season depression. I believe going thru your list, I have these things covered. Starting to pull out of the wardrobe to put away the Spring/Summer stuff and wondering what I should still hold out. I already got the idea that I need to keep the thicker white pants type items out because as a ole timer it hard to get over the rule of no white after Labor Day, and I have seen some real good styling with white denim/trouser. Should I pack away the linen button up shirts and dresses (linen pant I know will be pack away because provide no insulation against Missouri winter and layering underneath would be a pain). I have all of that in my closet, some of it in multiples. I mostly wear bold lipstick and I have plenty of bold colors in my closet along with black, white, navy and gray. Maxi skirt maybe 1 or 2. I prefer midi and above knee. I don't have a lot of plain button downs because I don't reach for them as often as other tops. Chunky heels are the only ones I wear, can't wear thin heels. I have various styles of jeans but it's hard for me to find an amazing fit. They are rarely high rise enough for me and a lot of inseams are short. I wear more skirts and dresses and not adding more jeans right now unless they fit perfectly. I only wear shorter cardigans.

I love my croc embossed combat boots! I bought a cognac color faux leather skirt last year that I have yet to wear. It's a pencil skirt and I always feel too "dressed up" for my casual life style. But I'm going to wear it, darn it!
