I am not disagreeing with you im sure you need the correct one but on calmsden i have no issues using the given header and header trailer together

@@FarmerCop I got it to work, it did go on and stay on, but I don't think it is as forgiving with placement as it would be if it was correct. I could be wrong with my assessment as I haven't used many header trailers in general, but on Calmsden, with the space available on the roads, and the size of that header, the trailer is necessary. I will have to give it a try and see if the correct trailer is more forgiving on placement.

The whole "header compatibility" thing is not very user-friendly altogether. One remedy is to use the "Combinations" button when highlighting a particular harvester, header, or header trailer. However, you might encounter an issue where the header trailer shows up for harvester combinations, but does *not* show up for header combinations. On a similar note, the player needs to pay close attention to the coupling of a trailer or attachment to ensure it can be towed by a pickup truck or tractor. And don't get me started on how the Mack trucks can't use any sort of dolly to tow a non-5th wheel trailer.

I've seen that as well for all of the production lines and this is a kind of double usage. Nice, if you want to make money much faster, but for me it's unfair because normally you should pay the owner for the delivered goods (maybe that will get implemented in future updates, I hope). And you raise money also on hard mode very quickly anyway, so in my opinion it's not necessary to cheat on the owners :)

@@g-rex5440 yeah, I’m sure it is a general thing, but it only happened with cotton for me, but it should be the same for all products. And I agree it is a bit like cheating, but at least is wasn’t intentional. :)

With some cow pens it will let em take slurry from the tank I don’t know why it doesn’t work with manure

I just started playing fs last year for the frist time ever. I started with fs 19 it was awesome. Until my mother in law got me fs22 for ps4 for a early father's day. I came across farmer cops channel after watching lots of others half of which I could not understand and have been subscribed to his channel for a few months now. All your videos have helped me as I was a very inexperienced fs player. So thanks for taking out the time to do thses video's.

There is also a mod that lets you collect straw from such contracts when there is some like from harvesting wheat contracts. The straw is not needed to complete the contract, all extra profit.

It is too high but its not a bug, GIANTS intentionally allows you to gain some extra for the contracts, it has always been that way

@@FarmerCop It's funny to see you have such a high praise of GIANTS, but I think it's not intentional from them to allow you that extra, because they are nice. I think it's more from the fact, that it is almost impossible (I stress the word "ALMOST" here) to get that coded in game to work without the extra, because of game limitations. It's not easy to fix that, because of the possible less yield from wear of machinery (if using your own equipment), possible weather influence (lower yield in bad weather), and the fact that some players do not really feel like harvesting every single last bit of that contract field just to get it done properly. Some margin of error is necessary. And given the phrase from GIANTS regarding this feature - "enjoy it while it lasts" - I'm also pretty sure it will be dealt with in some shape or form by GIANTS in following patches of game. Honestly - I agree, that is not really an issue, only seen as a problem by hardcore players, who look down on everyone else, who plays the game casually... Anyhow, just my 2 cents here. BTW: thank you very much for your great videos!

I know BUT in the past you had to plan for the cotton bonus and it would just take the whole bale, its less about contracts and more about cotton

@@FarmerCop i mean you can get a bonus for all crop type contracts from harvesting to baling you get the bonus not just cotton alone. ex. canola, rye, barley, oat. you'd get teh bonus from them as well as long as the contract was done anything extra you keep

Yea you can have quite a few hired at once, I believe on console its limited at 5 but I have rarely had many more than that running

Quick tip for making money i use myself; Look for field with crops that are ready to harvest, or in their final growth phase Buy field (take out a loan if you must) Harvest crop Sell crop Sell field (Pay back loan) You see, the field is valued by its size, not by what’s on it. So you buy a full field and sell it for the same amount after you harvested it.

@@GulliNL ook Nederlands gok ik. Ik speel op ps5. Natuurlijk heb ik dit ook geprobeerd. Maar een veld met oogst kost meer dan hetzelfde veld leeg opbrengt. Ik speel op easy. Ik weet niet of hier verschil is tussen pc en console. De kosten van bijvoorbeeld druiven kun je pas na 15 jaar terug verdienen. Dat gaat nergens over toch? Produceer je rozijnen dan is het nog 10 jaar. En dat op easy?

@@ducatiniels Ja die druiven heb ik ook geprobeerd, alleen al een harvester leasen kost 16k en van mijn kleine landje kwam voor 12k aan druiven, hoe dan!? En dan alle moeite die je erin moet steken en geen worker kunnen huren. Ik heb ze weer verwijderd in elk geval. Ik speel ook op PS5 overigens, alleen weet ik niet zeker of ik op easy speel, maar ik denk bijna van wel. Mijn ervaring is dat een stuk land altijd hetzelfde kost als dat het oplevert dus dan is de oogst je winst.

​@@terrafarmer9261What if you have a controller with additional mapable buttons? Can you map turning everything on and lowering everything to those buttons on the console version?

To unload a partial cotton bail you have to use the same binding you would for a trailer, fertilizer spreader, etc. Using “Unload Here” (sometimes called manual/force unload) should allow a cotton bale to unload as long as it reaches something like 50%. Some fields are really small and it annoys me when cotton gets put there by the AI because it can and has happened to me that I couldn’t unload even half a bail. Best of luck on your next try.

I don't have that problem with my X9 and its header trailer. Haven't tried others yet. 10.90 will be the next harvester I get, but I really like the X9 for its 27400L capacity.
