It's hard to know who to trust online. Everyone is selling something. Even I one day hope to mentor some of you. There are fake gurus out there that claim to know how to teach airbnb, business, and real estate. Phonies like Chi Ta trying to sell his course BNB university or Brian Page trying to sell BNB formula. Inexperienced hosts like Stayly with only a few properties and a year of airbnb experience, they claim to make millions on airbnb bust don't reveal those million are all course sales that come from ad campaign and a free webinar that they misrepresent as a paid webinar that is free just for you. Coaches with No airbnb arbitrage or business leaderhip experience like Robuilt. There are no-name hosts with barely any properties trying to claim they're successful, such as vacation rental machine or bnb riches, or the 10xbnb system. None of these "gurus" have a decade and a half of sales experience or business leadership under their belt in addition to having over 100 properties. I manage 75 properties and do disagree with "hourly housekeeping" - we went from losing money on housekeeping to making money by changing that policy. and going to per property cleaning but did need to have some randomized inspections to maintain quality.

The town of Carrboro NC called yesterday and said they received a complaint against my 5 bedroom house I'm rentling by the room. They are calling it a boarding house. Does anyone know how to get around this or know of any lawyers that specialize in this kind of thing?

Hey Sean, I havn'e been able to find the legal definition of a boarding house. I was able to get the person that made the complaint to the town to retract her complaint but I guess it did not work because I got a notice of violation email today. I checked and saw that there are at least 39 active Airbnbs in this town of Carrboro. I'm completely booked in this house until April and they want me to shut it down asap. Do you know of any lawyers that I could hire? By the way, my son Nathanael is working partnered with you on 5 Airbnbs in TX just so you know. I'm the one that introduced him to you and your priceless content. Anyway, anything you could help with would be greatly appreciated.@@AirbnbAutomated
