ABOUT BROOKLYN NINE-NINE
"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" follows the exploits of hilarious Det. Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) and his stoically ever-professional captain, Raymond Holt (Andre Braugher), along with their diverse, lovable colleagues as they police the NYPD's 99th Precinct. In this final season of the series, Jake and the squad must try to balance their personal lives and their professional lives over the course of a very difficult year.
Rounding out the ensemble is Sgt. Amy Santiago (Melissa Fumera), who has a passion for organization and a weakness for dork dancing; Lt. Terry Jeffords (Terry Crews), a mountain of a man whose most powerful muscle is his sweetheart; Jake's best friend and human puppy dog, Det. Charles Boyle (Joe Lo Truglio); and the incredibly secretive, tough-as-nails Rosa Diaz (Stephanie Beatriz). Also part of the Nine-Nine are veteran officers Det. Scully (Joel McKinnon Miller) and Det. Hitchcock (Dirk Blocker), whose only skill as police officers is their ability to make a passable pot of coffee.
Created by Emmy Award-winning writer/producers Dan Goor and Michael Schur, "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" won the 2014 Golden Globe Awards for Best Television Series - Comedy or Musical and Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series - Comedy or Musical (Samberg). Emmy winner Braugher earned four Emmy nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his role as Capt. Holt.

Look not to sound paranoid or anything but you should consider downloading a microphone blocker and see if the same things keep happening

@@lyssasfaith I know, I block my microphone to apps that don't need my microphone to work... Google assistant etc do always listen. By disabling the mic for that app you also save battery...

@@vitoftw9646 I downloaded an active microphone blocker that supposedly blocks the microphone for all apps. I turn it off whenever I call. You can also turn off google assistant, they hid the disable button at a very obscure place.. But I think that by disabling it, they can't listen to all the background noise

Capt Raymond Holt is legitimately one of the greatest characters in TV history. He is layered, he is loyal, he is amazingly dryly funny. And overall, he is distinct without copying previous characters from other shoes.

The magic of Holt/Andre’s performances are the unexpected bursts/perfectly timed expression of emotion. Velvet thunder moment is another classic and I love the Cheddar moments. Plus Kevin and Raymond’s relationship feels genuine. I would go as far as saying that Raymond Holt is one the best sitcoms characters about. Maybe even my personal favourite. Which says a lot when I have regular cast of Scrubs in mind, Chandler from Friends and Del Boy from Only Fools.

I like how Holt started out so aloof and above it all but as the show progressed he found himself getting sucked in by the squad's shenanigans. Mark of a good boss if you ask me. R.I.P. Captain.

Captain Holt in the entire Bachelor’s Party episode is (24 KARAT) GOLD. “Charles: Captain, your coin, please. Captain Holt: I ate mine.” NO ONE does deadpan better than Andre Braugher. Also, drunk Holt is hysterical.

I have always wondered how time skips in tv shows work. When they say 5 minutes later 5 minutes pass, that much is obvious but when they say 10 minutes later does it count from the 5 minute or from the start? Has 76 minutes passed ever since the start of the bone clip or has only 40 minutes passed?
