I think the look good I've only recently upping my wardrobe and I want boots and clothes that I can either dress up or down because since I'm learning I rather buy things they can go both ways. Plus when I save a bit more I can buy the more costly things that can only be dressed up and only dressed for casual.

Love the video. Your videos have helped me in improving my style. I'm personally a big fan of Chelsea boots, I got my first pair of RM Williams while in the Air Force and since then I've gotten a few different styles so I can rotate them out daily.

I am a proud owner of chelsea boots. I love chelseas, they are so stylish and I find them very practical because they have no laces,you just hop then on/off like slippers. They are the ideal shoe for the lazy man who anyway wants a touch of flair. The only drawback I have is that since they are suede(which I also love) when I wear them I'm a bit paranoid of getting them stained by accident, you need to be conscientious and careful when you are wearing them, which can be a bit mentally taxing if you just want to chillax. To anyone who stains their suede with oil here is a tip, dump some cornstarch on the stain and brush it off in the morning ;)

I love Chelseas. They are easy to slip on and off, making them a go to when you aren't really into setting out your outfit for the day. I have an odd foot with a high instep so engineer and other pull ons are hard to fit and the elastic helps the vamp be more flexible. I will probably never wear a suit again, so the more fashionable styles aren't in my target, but for someone getting started I think they can be one of the first boots in their collection. Good video.

They work well with smart casual, business casual looks, and they are a good way to dress up jeans and khakis. Love to wear them with sport jackets. Great to dress up a casual outfit, pair with a leather jacket for date night. It gives you the rugged masculinity of boots, with a bit of the refinement of a dress shoe. So often shoes can make an outfit. They separate the men from the boys. Women really notice this detail.

I like the kind with the higher, angled heel (is that the Cuban heel?). The photos of the Beatles have these (some of them), but none of your examples do. I just had new trousers altered with a full break in anticipation of getting my new boots, and I was hoping you would discuss heels and trouser breaks, but I guess that's another video.

Cool video, I find not worrying about all this allows me to walk a little taller in a pair of pty dropping, shit kicking, booties. My two cents- if you are watching this stressing about "pulling it off", just toss that concept aside, people who "pull it off" have no idea what the hell that means. Just go for the ones that feel awesome when you pop them on and wear them with whatever you want.

I bought my first pair of Chelsea boots from Foster & Son over 25 years ago. They are still going strong and have only improved with age. Shoe trees and a good shoe care routine pay dividends.

I personally like the design, in a patina'd light brown or black, suede not so much. However, i don't know if they could fit my height, i measure around 163cm and heavy leather pieces such as a double rider don't cut it for me, i think it would happen the same with Chelseas, i will go to a shoestore later today to try a couple on, and see how they look on me. If they do look good on me (Since i'm smaller, thicker stuff looks ridiculous on me, but some slim cut jeans, slim suede jacket and stuff looks very good on me) i will buy them, i personally love Doc Martens and Moc Toes but they are way heavier on the feet than Chelseas

The video was great as always Antonio, but you didn't talk about body type which i think is still important 🤔, Chelsea boots might not look good on a pear shaped body type or a round body type because it exaggerates the fat of the body as the boots themselves are very slick and thin , instead these body types should wear heavy duty boots to match their body proportions . The Chelsea boots looks good on a thin man I think because it compliments his thin and simple body build , if a thin guy wears a chuck heavy boot then it'll make him look even more skinny . A muscular guy can pull of any type of shoe but still if he falls into the category of v shaped body type then maybe suede, double monks or brogue will better for his body shape as it draws attention to his foot than his upper muscular body . I wore black Carmina Chelseas to my last interview, and it worked - GYW can be sleek and sexy. Agree, do not skimp on Chelsea’s (or any other shoe or boot). Skimping shows and makes you look cheap or poor. Women look and notice, if that matters to you. Boot cut should not be worn ever, IMO, with Chelseas or otherwise. Chelsea boots need no break slim cut. Do not cuff with Chelsea’s, it looks sooo bad. I’ve tried it, many times, it just doesn’t work. Pony up for a dedicated pair of pants for Chelsea’s if you don’t already have a slim short inseam pair.

I can’t pull off suede Chelsea’s; and they just don’t fit me as far as personal taste; my Chelsea of choice is the John White black or chestnut; I feel they are a perfect complement to dark jeans and I always fake a fancy look with spats on the black ones cause who can really tell when the spats are overlapping the boot itself?
