Who else gets creative ideas in random moments?

I get creative ideas when I‘m in school, in the middle of the night or... on the *toilet* I always get creative in situations where I can‘t release my ideas...

I looked up to my grandmother. She used to create her own medicines that were natural and very beneficial. I still remember some of her remedies that I currently use.

Tbh, I am creative but I have an issue of showing a creativity as I can't translate pictures in my head into sketches, my lyrics are perceived as bad and always restricting writing ideas. I just know that I AM creative I just don't know how to show it.

It’s sad when creative people don’t like to take risks. Only being sheltered by there own pessimism. They can’t help but over think stuff and than always fall back on their cynicism. O well to each there own right.

Everyone kind of hates, that I daydream a lot, but because of it, I created a lot of things, that my friends enjoy having. Also, that's how I actually created a club for shy introverts like me.

Im 13 years old and this is how I keep myself distracted from my self issues.... I sing alot and I'm pretty good at it, I love writing stories, poetry and songs and i paint and sometimes I even play instruments on my phone because I don't really have any in real life....and alot of the times I get creative ideas so I write them down before I forget it and later on I try it out.. and sometimes i even do nothing I lay in my bed binge watching old KZfaq videos lmaooo😂

Man, you mentioned Kanye, that's crazy. I was just listening to Kanye and I recognized how creative he was and I was like "Damn, man. I wish I was that creative" so I looked up some videos and I stumbled upon this one.

i try sooo hard to come up with ideas, but in the end, i come up with nothing. it honestly makes me want to cry

I heard when I was young that people are one of two minds, creative or intellectual, i used to take pride in that notion, that i was just poised to learn and know a lot of things, but the more I think about it, the more I realize its not a matter of one or the other, it's how they work off one another, and personally, a matter of taking risks. I spent so long feeding the notion that I'm just "brained a certain way" that taking risks never felt like a good idea, and now I have to unlearn that to really use the part of myself that I neglected.

It just occurred to me that almost everything is creative... art, animation, web design, writing, acting, music, sculpting, architecture, interior/exterior design, gardening, textile, blacksmithing, inventing, crafting- heck, even food! Maybe humans are innately artistic irregardless of how we express our creativity. This blows my freaking mind

This video reminds me how much I need to go back and keep drawing new things and that it's a hobby I need to pick back up. It also reminds me that I need to put time into learning the instruments I keep buying but barely playing.

I feel like i’m 70% introvert and 30% extrovert. I prefer being home alone listening to music and creating, but I can enjoy going to a big party or festival, or just going out in the city sometimes. However I feel like social media has taken a LOT of my free time (and study time btw), that I now have trouble to stay focused on a regular basis and that I could create much more. like when I was a child and free from all this technological environment. Does anyone feel the same thing?

i get creative when i have a new experience and something inside of me wants to share that with the world. i may paint or sing maybe dance, in the end its a feeling that i am compelled to explore.

I come from a whole family of artists, each of us with their own art form. I'm the one fortunate to have more than one. The one I want to further progress is music. Sometimes I try not to ask because I get nervous, but when I do, I get some great tips and ways to get better. I do have a routine, but it's not that bad. I still have time to be creative. Being expressive is a great way for me to really put my ideas out there. I want to see the world outside my own house and city. It'll help make experiences, connections with people and help others. Observing is what I tend to do most often. I take a lot of information and just 'absorb' it all as I observe. Mindfulness helps ease into creativity through calmness. I'm aware of the risks and am willing to go all in. I can allow my mind to expand my initial thoughts. Whether staring at the ceiling or watching random vids, my mind is always in active mode. I always enjoy creating. Recipes, music, anything, so long as I can keep going.

Im a singer and i write stories...i love writing stories. All of these tips you named are essenstial in my everyday life. Cant go five mins without doing atleast 4 of them. Going on adventures or exploring new places is really a great way for me to people watch. And draw up story ideas with the world around me.

Gary, a truly intelligent technician from college, he always had the answers?! Whatever I wanted to build he helped me find the best way. Definitely had a great mind and knack for figuring stuff out.

I show my creavity through art. When I get an idea in my head I draw it out on paper and then use it for a story or something.

Sometimes when I’m in bed, some random music and idea for a song just pops into my head for no reason, I’m not even trying to think of a song idea.

Tryna be creative so I can start to be an entertainer, specifically in KZfaq, twitch, and even tik tok. I know the key to being a successful entertainer is to be different but it’s pretty hard for me to come up with some cool ideas. So I’m hoping something like this video will help me out.

Idk about anyone else, but I can say that I am a creative. Have been all my 19 years of living. Something I wanted to say is with most artist or creative's in any way, stumble upon what I like to call "the creative block". This means that for a period of time, you can't think if any ideas on what to make. Something I do to help with this is to make something anyways. Rather it's music, art, acting, writing whatever it may be. Get out of the house, and make something. That always helps my creative juices flow. Also, have someone who is creative in your life. I find that creative people are very kind, thoughtful and wise. Having someone like that in your life could benefit you in so many ways. Finally, don't be afraid to try something new. Get out of your comfort zone and dare to be different.

My dad he helped me be creative. He inspired me to play an instrument, learn new languages, learn more about art,writing, and science. He’s the best :3

Bro I don't even know; The panel was a dull shine, A tiring white. Though not a late grey. The carpet is an overused brown. A damping covering of once liveliness. Balloons slept through the room, almost eerie nonetheless alive however simple. The air working a dreary stillness, whistles of clicking scarcely present. And a warming myth of will. I get creative ideas when I listen to music, so I have sessions where I chill and blast music in my earbuds to think. It usually works!

I was just thinking about drawing or writing because I have no homework and a bunch of free time (at least for today). There psych2go goes again, reading my mind.
