Wanda Maximoff is arguably the strongest hero in the MCU right now. Her powers have grown exponentially since her first introduction and now that she has the Darkhold in her possession, there’s no limit to what she could do. Reality doesn’t stand a chance! But even though Wanda seems unbeatable, I thought it would be fun to discuss today all the heroes who would put up the best fight.
I think everyone on today’s list could potentially beat Wanda if the circumstances were right. For example, with Wanda being such a powerful magic user, it would make sense that you would need another magic user to take her down. That’s where the former Sorcerer Supreme comes in! Doctor Strange is probably the world’s best hope if Wanda ever went rogue and wanted to destroy the world. But is he truly powerful enough to stop her? Or what about Vision? Not only does he have an almost indestructible body, but he also has that emotional connection to Wanda that could give him the edge. And speaking of emotional connections, do you think there’s any situation where Hawkeye would win in a fight? That’s something else I want to discuss!

Current comic Wanda absorbed the darkhold making her the "True Darkhold" also absorbed Chthon and all of his powers (Note: Wanda only has a little portion of Chthon's chaos magic before but because she absorbed Chthon and all of his powers not only does she became even more powerful than ever(maybe even more powerful than her HOM version)she also tied The Darkhold to her own soul which grants her infinite knowledge.) She's basically an Elder Goddess at this point.

Wanda now has access to unlimited powers from the Darkhold, which makes her even stronger from her reality warping chaos magic. This amplifies her already powerful magic together with the piece of the mind stone inside of her. The Scarlet Witch is literally a nexus being capable of rewriting reality on a universal scale, access to multiple dimensions, manipulate probability to her favour, and transmute matter including Thor’s lightning. Her chaos magic exceeds that of even the Sorcerer Supreme. Current comic book Wanda also absorbed the Darkhold, making her in control of the Chaos God Chthon and his powers which grants her immense powers.

1 Wanda's force field is on auto pilot, so that means no one can shot bullets at her. Meaning hawkeye, shang chi, and deadpool are helpless. 2 we all saw how Wanda murdered two heroes in Dr Strange 2 Black Bolt and Professor X. 3 She had beaten Vision and Iron Man in Civil War. Plus she messed up Iron Man's mind in Age of ultron, and She killed Vision in Infinity War. 4 she also messed up Hulk's mind 5 The One Above All can only beat her.

I know that we’re talking and analyzing things in the MCU and not the Comics but people just don’t acknowledge how powerful Wanda really is. Her power is “Magic” which allows her to create or to manipulate energy and to simultaneously and deeply affect countless aspects of life and the infinite realities, and it’s not just any kind of magic, it’s “CHAOS MAGIC”, which allow her to be capable of anything. I mean we can all stay here stating facts or analyzing details but the truth is that Wanda is way way more powerful than we think or what we’ve been shown. She can trap Shang chi in a reality or even kill him and she can use her magic to make sure that in all other realities and dimensions she’s always the winner. The infinity stones were even following under the law of TVA while just her getting the title of the Scarlet Witch already makes “He who Remains” a sense of losing control and the timeline on the verge of branching. It may sound a little bias but I just want people to give Wanda some kind of recognition for her capabilities and magic. Trust me, in the comics, she is no longer a multiversal threat, she has become a multiversal goddess.

Wanda was being “reasonable” in Doctor Strange 2. She showed a fraction of her true power and I don’t think people realize that. She can literally rewrite reality at her will, brainwash anyone, and affect the probability of anything. I mean if she absolutely wanted to, couldn’t she just say, “What avengers?” and the avengers would just die? I’m exaggerated but you get the point 😅

Deadpool is immune to psychological attacks just like “What Deadpool” wouldn’t work cus he already broke the fourth wall. All he has to do is write a note to the writers to make Wanda non canon. That’s all he has to do. He has been known to talk to the camera

Agatha said, the scarlet witch exceeds the power of the sourcerer supreme. But strange isnt the sourcerer supreme. It is wong because after they were all gone for 5 years, wong was the one protecting the reality. So we could say that strange isnt currently the sourcerer supreme because he was risking reality this whole time. I believe strange could beat wanda if he studies more. As we saw in What If strange has the potential to becoming one of the strongest beings in the multiverse!

That's very over exaggeration... One Above All isn't shown in the MCU yet so I suppose you mean the comics. In the comics, there are many who can still beat her, despite the fact that she absorbed Chthon and the Darkhold and is now essentially and Elder Goddess. Like: Living Tribunal, Watchers, Abstract beings (Eternity, Death, etc.), Beyonders, Molecule Man, maybe RKT (he could beat her most likely, before she absorbed Chthon, but now it's debatable), etc.

She is much more powerful than her HOM state. BUT, this is all comics, not MCU. In the MCU, she can still be defeated by those I mentioned above. The One Above All LITERALLY is God, you hyper genius. No, not a "god" like Thor or Odin. The ACTUAL God (Well, his comicbook equivalent... also another nickname for the author) who's omnipresent, omniscient and omnipotent. He'd literally be immune to Wanda's powers while taking away hers and rewriting the Multiverse to as if she never existed. That's what being the actual God is like. Go read a comic book for once.

The thought of Shang Chi's Ten Rings each having different abilities in a sequel wouldn't be a stretch. When his dad wore it, the rings emitted purple light right? But when Shang Chi did, the rings went from purple to gold. He's like the chosen one. He might be able to unlock the rings' full potential and not just smack people with them like his father.

If we also talk about dc characters who could beat her, Flash(Barry Allen) Reverse Flash(Eobard Thawne) Flash/Kid Flash(Wally West), Zoom(Hunter Zolomon) could beat her. If they hold back, then they'll definitely lose but if they use their full potential they can literally unleash the speed force on her. So they can break the speed of light, travel across the whole world and give her a huge sonic punch. Also, for those who haven't watched Flash season 1, well don't read this part cos it's got spoilers. So when Flash and Blackout did their last fight, they both I think harnessed each other's energy with Barry coming on top. I think, the people I just listed could do the same or try to absorb her powers. Another spoiler so don't read it if you haven't watched season 7. So when Barry needed to take away Thawne's powers, he kind of harnessed Thawne's speed making him powerless. I think if Scarlett Witch and the people I just listed do this, first it may seem like Scarlett has the advantage point but then they unleash their full potential, and boom, she's gone. Also, I mean all of this in a solo fight. Also, this is just an opinion.

@@Lucci136 I think it depends. If Flash doesn't act fast, then yes. See, if we take Wally, for example, he was able to absorb enough speed from other speedsters to run faster than teleportation. But without the help of other speedsters, he can cover 7000 miles in 6.25 seconds and that should be enough to knock Wanda out when not holding back. Then, as for Zoom and Reverse-Flash, they can slow down time and make Wanda look like an insect if they act fast. They would considering Wanda should not be underestimated. Then as for Barry Allen, it's a similar speed feat but he can run across the world about 75 times a second. Then what would happen is, he'd build up enough charge and run towards Wanda and since he'd not be holding back, Wanda would not be able to see him since the amount of charge couldn't hold him back and he punches Wanda and she's knocked out.

I think Wanda is overpowered in the MCU tbh. The biggest difference between her and most of the others on this list is how far she’s willing to go. She brainwashed a whole town and from looking at the MOM trailer, she’s quite literally willing to destroy the multiverse for her own interest. But it postponed because of covid. No I heard that news too. That's why I asked it. There's a news they will make Wanda a powerful interdimensional entity in her solo comic.

my candidate for the best person to take down Scarlet Witch: *The* *Foundation.* I know he's not a Marvel Character but he exists in the same universe as the MCU and has even directly interacted with a few Marvel heroes so it's not out of the question that he could fight Wanda. Now what makes him, in my opinion the best man to take down Wanda is his armour. this stuff is bullet proof, has taken a direct shot from a railgun and most importantly was able to keep the man inside the suit safe from direct hits from reality modifying shockwaves coming from THE CORE OF THE MULTIVERSE! So yeah, that's already strait up IMMUNITY to Wanda's powers, but his weapon selection isn't too bad either. He can summon boulders to smash into his enemies, he can create enemy shockwaves, he has guns that can create dimensional rifts and most importantly he can use an electric punch which not only can instantly kill most troopers but might also be able to break almost any building component/vehicle instantly, which means Wanda can't even throw things at him. taking into account that Wanda can't directly hit The Foundation and she struggles against direct blows, The fight would more than likely end with The Foundation punching her out within a matter of seconds. I'm not saying that this guy is invincible, far from it, I just think that with all we have been shown, his abilities conveniently all work in conjunction as the perfect counter to Wanda
