Hi Tanya just a quick line to say you can reposition apps just by holding the select button. Then move to where you want to position it, click again to drop app.... Sure your subscribers will like that! Max

In addition to clearing Cache regularly,do I have to reboot firestick time to time.If yes,at what intervals?Does rebooting speed up Firestick?

Yes. I recommend rebooting the Firestick at least once a week. However, disconnecting it from the power completely (if possible) when not in use, e.g. overnight, for example, would be preferable.

I have an issue I’m hoping you can resolve. I have a really hard time seeing what is selected onscreen as I’m scrolling with the remote. So as you move around your screen, what you decide you want to land on (whether it be menu selections or program selections) I find it extremely difficult to see what I’ve actually landed on because the highlighting around the item just blends in with the background and you can barely see the “lit up“ selection box around it. Is there a way to change the coloring so it’s more visible? I hope this makes sense.

Not as far as I know, however there are several accessibility options with the Firestick settings that may help you such as a screen magnifier and VoiceView. Check them out by going to your Firestick Settings and selecting the Accessibility option.

I’ve followed you for several months and appreciate you sharing all your extremely helpful knowledge and expertise. Unfortunately, I’m at a standstill since early Dec. I can’t download anything because my downloader is not working despite deleting it, and re-downloading it. For some reason one of my firestick keeps crashing the other fire stick I have in my other TV in the bedroom works fine. I don’t know why every time I try to go to your website using the same code it boots me out to the main screen. Is anyone else having this issue?

I have never seen that issue before sorry. Are you entering 28907? Do you get an error message? Does the same happen when you enter other codes into Downloader? Can you try and enter 28907.net instead?

Tanya please help, is anyone else getting the " Home isn't available " on the 4k firestick? This started about 3 weeks ago. I have done EVERYTHING to fix it, cleared cashe, restarted, unplugged firestick and reset router even another tv, only thing that works is to restart everyday. 🙏

If your router is currently on 5ghz change it to 2.4ghz. If that does not help then try hardwiring your firestick with an ethernet adapter.

I just checked my Home button and it shows a shit load of apps and other stuff all the way down the screen. Don't know why yours is saying not available....you must have clicked off a button somewhere. :)

A restart works for me. Another thing you can do is unplug the electric plug 30 seconds then plug up the device.

Use Downloader app. Enter 28907. Wait for page to load. Select Sports from categories. Find ESPN in the list and select. Click the BLUE Download Fire TV/Android TV button. Install the app. Hope this works!

I’m in the USA why is it my fire cube starts to blink in yellow and I have to restart it to turn it on or off.

If it's connected via Wi-Fi, a yellow (or orange) light means there was a loss of connection. Restarting the Fire Cube will resolve this. You can also try rebooting your router. Unplug it for 30 seconds to let it reset itself then plug back in.
