@@smoothnews most people are not buying iPhones very often and most people don't pay the full price up front and instead split the payment into 24 months that gets added onto their phone bill. Most Americans are living paycheck to paycheck and can't buy a 1k phone with cash, let alone a $500 monitor or $1000 vacuum on top of that

"Gifts you can buy right now". A $500 monitor, $300 Console, $270 sound bar, $200 airpods, $100 mini-speaker, $300 tablet, and a multi-thousand dollar laptop. Not to mention a lot of these are not available atm.

He's out of touch and most of these felt like an add + Anker is in a whole lot of contaversy with their sub brand Eufy stealing user photos and videos without consent on their smart doorbels and security cameras.

Hopefully he just hasn't heard of it yet. I only know of it through WAN show so probably it's not that well known, and then on top of that you have to know that it's an Anker sub brand

I almost bought the Samsung M8 display. But the 60hz made me back out. I would have loved to use it as a smart tv/gaming monitor. I need 120hz MINIMUM.

I ended up getting myself a mbp14 with a base M1 Pro. No discount, but they gave me a 250$ gift card (classic Apple). Either way, this should be a massive upgrade from my current XPS 9575, which is by far the worst machine i've ever owned. That's also difficult to think about, considering the 9350, which i've owned before that, also had the same issues, but at least it was built a bit better
