Don’t fall in the trap of thinking that you have to need this to be productive. It’s possible to have a good setup anyway with cheap stuff. There is no need to buy fancy stuff to become better at working/studying. The change has to be made in your mind in the first place, then MAYBE you can upgrade your space.

The logitech's mouse/keyboard combo is the BEST choice I've ever taken for my productivity. 2+ years with the mouse and 1+ year with the keyboard, and I still cannot stop loving using them so much, seriously people, if you haven't tried, you're missing out

I've got a home gym right next to mine. Also lined a bunch of tables around my workspace, so I have a lot of tabletop space to keep books, work on labs, paperwork, etc. Also, adjacent to my workspace I setup an enclosed gated play area for my 2 year old daughter to play. I can at least try to be productive some of the time.

I ditched the wireless Logitech keyboard for a wired DasKeyboard mechanical keyboard 2 years ago and it was a huge improvement for someone who works in a text console or command line 90+% of the time.
@danbogart2 жыл бұрын
I went the other way. I had a nice wire mechanical keyboard and went to the mx keys/master 3 combo. The reason I did it is because i use my workspace for leisure and work, using three separate computers (personal laptop and PC, work laptop). The Logitech combo allows me to use one mouse and keyboard for all three computers seamlessly. Because it’s wireless, I can pack it up and take it with when I need to go into the office as well.

One bit of advice for setting up a desk space: Minimize your movement for things you need everyday. One more bit of advice: have an "empty" work space at your desk. So, you put your notebook there. When you are done, move the notebook out of that space. This will help to eliminate clutter.

Nice video~! However, I can never get the need for 'wireless' keyboards and mouse. I mean, what benefits do they serve? Wired counterparts work just as well and barely gets in the way. I don't have range anxiety, but there were more than once when these accessories died on me when I needed to do something urgently and there was once or twice when the connection for some reasons don't work.
@mauddescamps757211 ай бұрын
The thing that I am missing most of the time with brands like grovemade is that they barely do any accessories for people who enjoys writing with fontain pens. Those are really common in Europe (a basics in school and highschool). Later many keep one as it is nicer to write with one (even the cheap ones).

For my taste, the PC table shown is not deep enough, I would sit too close to the monitor and would not have enough space in front of it for my utensils or to be able to write or read anything comfortably in front of or next to the keyboard ... and I have enough extra space for a cup of coffee or something to eat without any risk for my technical devices ... that's why I use a correspondingly large dimensioned solid built dining table made of wood. In order to prevent neck pain for me, I didn't position my monitor higher, but placed it directly on the table, pushed the monitor down on the stand as much as possible and tilted it backwards so that I can now look down at the monitor from above, which is much more comfortable for me. That`s the main reason why I don`t use a stand for my notebook either instead I want to use its built-in camera for video calls so that the camera is on my eye level, then no one is forced to look deep into my nostrils or at the ceiling in the background and otherwise both looks very unprofessional.

I don't understand why people like that MX Master mouse. I bought it too; but realised it is a stupid mouse. The scroll wheel irritates me to no ends. It does not do smooth scrolling on Macs and if you flick it, it goes fast even if it is not set for fast scrolling with the little button below the scroll wheel.
