After 5 years of being stuck with Devy's cutscene tutorial, you finally have an updated version. In this tutorial we'll be doing cutscenes and dialogue within cutscenes. I show how to use the "Easing Object" which helps create smooth satisfying movement with characters and looks way better than the plain linear movement. While the example I made wasn't really EXE related you can still apply this knowledge to your EXE game.
FUN FACT: The example I made was a remake of what @NotDevy did in his old cutscene tutorial.

ONLY ONE MISTAKE - After 33:05 , at the last end of cutscene, it should be Go to Next Frame, or else stucked.

Oh yeah I was already planning on covering that after the tutorial series, it is gonna be one that takes a while just cause I gotta make sure I got it right then I have to actually make the tutorial.

Well unless you really want me to get in depth with it, it's as simple as making a copy of Act 1 and changing the name to be Act 2 and then modify Act 2 and make a new zone layout, and if you have the zone name GUI, make it say Act 2.

Does that only happen with Plus or just any Simple Sonic Worlds engine? The plus version was known for being sort of "Incomplete"

Try reinstalling it, if it doesn't work it may be something with Clickteam, I've never heard of that happening before.

Hey i have a idea! You can make the Mario exes/ creepypastas ones like tutorial on them. Even the engine what they used. It might be intressing no? Edit:like something that get off on Sonic stuff.

I get what you mean, tutorials for Mario exes and stuff like that. I've thought about it and maybe I could (All I can really think of is how to make an MX chase lol) for now though I'm just gonna stick with Sonic.

Hey, now i have One that maybe no One did. How tò make a event like during the gameplay like i don't know that those Little seconds can see Sonic got pass by and make that jumpscared tò scare people? Maybe it's a good idea no?

@@TurboTH_Official no more like i don't know while playing like i Don't know... Tails you can make a event that you saw something similar tò Sonic running pass by and you didn't notice well. Like batim like with bendy cutout that peak then turn his position like before.

So you mean mid-game while Tails is walking in the level Sonic just runs by him and goes off-screen? As like a mini jumpscare?

Best way would be to set a movement on Sonic but don't have it start at the beginning, just have him offscreen waiting. Than at the time you want it to happen you can teleport him behind Tails but still offscreen (Something like set Sonic's X position to be equal to Tail's X - 400, experiment with it) and have the movement start there, make sure he's fast enough so that Tails can't catch up to him, once he goes off screen after running by you could either teleport him back to his starting spot (Allows you to trigger the jumpscare again if you want) or just destroy him if you would only do the jumpscare once.
