Yeah, I'm only about halfway through the list, but so far this is the only one that I could genuinely understand why people would be frustrated with it.

In a way, sure. But I thought it was pretty cool that he's still out there. That there is some good in the world, fixing what went wrong.

I'm glad they never showed Maris onscreen. The gags around were too good for her to show up. Plus, the show did a great job of making her fully fleshed out character who could move whole storylines forward without appearing onscreen. And, they were right; after a certain point, she became uncastable. Also, anyone who thought Toby was going to be the actual Scranton Strangler is incredibly naive. It's a lighthearted comedy. They weren't gonna make one of their characters a murderer. Just including the Scranton Strangler subplot was the darkest The Office was gonna get.

The identity of the Gold Zeo Ranger is one that sadly didn't meet expectations. Originally, VR Troopers' Ryan Steele would have been revealed as the Gold Zeo Ranger. Brad Hawkins had even been voicing him until the reveal. But the idea was scrapped because of a casting decision either Saban, Levy or both wanted to go with. Amusingly. Hawkins was going to play the White Ranger in Season 2 of Mighty Morphin', but Jason David Frank returned to assume that role as Tommy after "Cybertron" fell through. And Cybertron was repackaged as VR Troopers, with Hawkins in the lead role. Neat, huh?

I couldn’t imagine anyone other than Brad Hawkins playing Ryan in VR Troopers, JDF was just too ingrained into the Power Rangers DNA for a lot of us and seeing him remove the White Ranger helmet was the best surprise possible!

I *liked* the ending of Quantum Leap. I liked that he had the option of going home, and realized he couldn’t in good conscience do it. I like that he got a promotion and was working directly for God now, and that Al got his happy ending.

The perfect end to Quantum Leap was when the text came up on screen saying “Sam never returned home” because he sacrificed himself to give Al a better life.

Toby was the strangler. he told the guy in custody that he was going to let him take the fall for his crimes, and that's why he started choking Toby.

And we did almost get to see Vera once. During the episode where Karla buys a haunted house built over a former prison, a door is opened and a pie is thrown in Vera's face. Thus, we never see it. (Oh, and the house wasn't haunted. It was just built near an airport.)

Problem is they write a first season of a show with no real thought about an ending, and when it becomes popular they have to stretch the story out until they get cancelled.

God bless HEROES. It was a victum of the writers' strike. After such a superb first season, the second season went down almost episode by episode.

Not a Doctor Who fan? She's lead presenter at WhoCulture. Also presents for TrekCulture. And WhatCulture Horror (but I'm not a horror fan so I miss most of those). It's less common for her to appear on screen for regular WhatCulture, but it's not unheard of.
