In the netherlands every team with 10 championships gets a star on their shirt, Ajax PSV and Fijenoord all have one or more stars but most people dont know there is a club from The Hague that also has a star having achieved 10 Dutch league championships between 1891 and 1914; HVV now part of the royal The Hague cricket and football club "HCVV" they finally relegated in 1932 but are still around playing in the Dutch 5th tier of the amateur leagues. Talk about a team that time forgot :)

The most successful clubs in Germany are 1) Bayern, 2) BVB, 3) Werder Bremen, 4) HSV, 5) VfB Stuttgart! Just after the Bundesliga was started! Nürnberg would probably be third behind Bayern and Hamburg (who were actually way more successful than Bremen and Dortmund before 1963!) if we combine everything! I mean, Nürnberg won 9 german championships (Hamburg ‘only’ 6) but they are also the most often relegated team in german football alongside Bielefeld and they’ve never won a european title (Dortmund and Hamburg won the Champions League, Bremen the UEFA Cup)
