The "amazing stability" literally from the PID tune and not solely from the build. iFlight definitely makes solid bind-and-fly builds though.

No bro, not one tuning PID doesn’t happened when you vihecle having weight 0,5kg or different 2kg, prop rotating 5inch so fast, 10inch … very different

@@popriehI see words, but you aren't saying anything. Please explain yourself. @phiveone That, combined with props that are actually factory balanced these days. Balancing props was, for a long time, absolutely necessary for stable flight.

I think it's both and you're both right. Poor frame engineering and design results in oscillations that can't be filtered and/or tuned out. I just ordered this thing. Once it arrives I will see how well the claims hold up. If I remember I'll come back here and report my findings.

You need a good quality frame to get a good PID tune.

That is a sweet looking drone. Iflight makes solid, nice looking builds. Almost $1000 just for the drone oooomphh. I would be so nervous to loose it in the mountains haa

Great video ! And amazing places 😍 I fly 7” but I often struggle on pid tuning , not for dynamic flight but for throttle cruising vibrations and wind management , cannot imagine how complicated could be with 10 inch props !

7" machines are usually harder to tune than slightly bigger ones actually.

Hi from England. You mentioned getting cold hands. If you got an old sleeping bag you could cut the bottom off and add a plastic window so you can see the screen and put the remote control in the sleeping bag. Close the entry hole with velcro. You can make holes for the ariels etc as needed. You can still wear gloves too. You can also buy heating pads that run off a 5 volt battery. Google 5 volt usb heating pads and you should come up with something. I recently bought some bar cycle mits for my bike, which is where I got the idea from. They are like a bag that fits on your handlebars over your breaks and you slip your hands in. All the best.

What was the lightest battery/performance ratio u got for the BOB57 on long range? I can't seem to get anywhere close to 15 mins on LiIon 4k or Lipo 3300.

I used mostly 2800mah lipo to get 9-11 minutes flight time, and around 15 minutes with 4500mah Lipo

Why is the camera mounted on the top instead of the bottom? Do you run into any instances where the field of view is partially obscured with it being mounted on the top?

I think there is going to be an option to mount it on the bottom soon, but there is no obscured view when mounted on top :)

Helion is very easy for FC to overheat to temperatures above 70 degrees. Is it true that Helion is not reliable in tropical countries with hot temperatures or is it not suitable in coastal areas because the cover lacks air circulation?

Very useful and nice review. Are you using the DJI goggles? Also, what type of range extender are you using on the goggles? Which ones would you recommend to extend the video range for the goggles? I have a DJI Avata and the video quality gets choppy when the drone is a highly wooded area
