Steve O is actually an inspiration, going from being so strung out that your friends are worried if you’re alive everyday to someone living happy and healthy. Seeing Steve get sober actually inspired me to get help. I’m 3 months sober from opiates.

@@fred1395durst weeds mostly psychological wd's tho can be hard to stop for some ppl. good luck to anyone struggling addiction, with opiates nd benzos its physical agonizing painful withdrawals (but worth it in the long run) but i wouldnt wish the pain of it on my worst enemy, im in the midst of detoxing from methadone and multiple benzos valium, alprazolam,soma. having to slowly taper atm

I needed this Steveo. I accidentally screwed up at my job the other day, and I feel like I'm on the brink of termination or at least a demotion. This gave me some much-needed comfort just knowing that even if I get fired, I'll still be okay and might actually laugh at it later down the road.

getting fired from my last job back in 2019 was the best thing that happened to me recently. got another job soon after paying me more than double. quit that one after getting a bunch of experience, now i work for myself. learn from mistakes, be honest, and remember: there's always opportunity. cheers

It will be ok buddy. I thought my life was over because I got fired in April from my chemical operator job of 13 years. I was so depressed I thought about suicide, but I held in there and got a job where people actually appreciate me. If you get fired just hang in there, it will get better

I really do think part of Steve's recovery is that he isn't ashamed of his past, instead he confronts it, laughs at it and even relishes in it. I really do think that's the key to recovery from addiction; being honest with yourself and not being ashamed of yourself. Face the demon and kick it's teeth in. You go dude, much love.

Wasn't "fired" as a dishwasher, but relocated and then I quit entirely, because I was too thorough on cleaning the dishes, which must have cut into the turn-around time. Buying a few more dishes must have been out of the question for profitability.
