Most of these combos used the same basic routing. They were just minor variations with different starting conditions. Also, Johnny has lost a considerable amount of complexity due to not having his Level up mechanic from the coins. They even labeled Johnny as a "Zoner" type, but he's just a mid-range rushdown character.

The cS > dash cancel > cS after P Mist Finer is tough to get down, but practicing it seems worth it.

i got it pretty early, but for the life of me i cant get 66mist finer consistently. its so foreign to me ;-;

@@pepsy3085 Huh, this I have no issue with. I think you have to release the attack button the moment you press the dash one. Do use the dash macro if you don't already, it's so much easier than actually inputting 66.

@@pepsy3085 during a combo, I find that the MF dash attack comes out more consistently if you delay pressing your dash macro a _tiny_ bit. Also, you want to cancel the 2H right as Johnny's strikes make that "V" shape. Was trying to get c.S>2H>P Mistfiner dash attack consistent, and those 2 things made it much easier.

for most combos that start with 2H, instead of immediately going for mist finer you can instead mist finer cancel into K 6K or K 6H into mistfiner or vault

On corner I have been enjoying getting 214H after 2H instead of mist finer, then you can combo into K>6H>214H for some really good damage

The mist finer version does slightly more damage(202) and the 214H version does 197

The first combo does not work consistently on the former heavyweights like Pot and Nago. You'll most likely get f.S instead of c.S. I recommend delay 5K 6H into slight delay Ensenga for heavyweights instead of going for the 214[P] 66 ]P[ c.S 66 c.S extension. Also, an easier and more damaging corner combo is c.S 2H 214H 5K 6H 214H WS 5[D] Wallbreak

There are no weights anymore in the game. Everyone is now the same weight so it shouldnt matter.

That's why he said former heavyweights, but it's not really a weight problem here, rather a hitbox problem: nago and pot are big boys, but I'd bet it probably works fine on leo

First combo might not work on shorter characters. You can still do the beginning sequence until you do the 2 C.S you have to use Cr.S instead of 6HS and can combo into low or mid mistfiner

Your first combo you should really gut and replace the mist finer pick up with 5k>6k and end in vault and deal then super. If it doesn’t wall break you get a card on the ground and oki. Combo then works every where on screen.

Hello gamers, I have a harder but more damaging c.S midscreen combo for all of you utilising a Mist Finder Cancel :D c.S > 2H > MF Cancel > 5K > 6H > Vault > Deal > c.S > 6H WS 6H or Thats My Name. Without super it deals 222 daamge, with super it deals 241 damage.

i can definitely combo into c.s after vault-deal by delaying deal around right before i land, but in this combo (on ky) if thats possible it seems very tight. How do you more reliably combo out of vault-deal?

i'm not getting the timing on the 2k - 6H CH on the second combo. I set my dummy to do 5P after exiting the blockstun and it catches me every time. Do you have any advice to help me?

If you get anti-air with the card (from his vault or deal mid air) the oponent gets knocked down and you can still start a combo whilst they are knocked down (if you hit them with the throwing hit from vault it doesnt work) I didnt really know how to explain

Hello, first of all thanks for the guide, I have a question, no matter how hard I try, when I try to connect any attack after the vault the enemy recovers before I can connect either 5S or 2K, why can't it work? Is it me or it got patched?

i read an older coment u say you need to slightly delay the follow up of vault. but,there is a limit before the enemy take guard.

i cant seem to get the first combo on some characters like Nago. The c.S after the p mist finer just ends up as a f.S unless i delay the mist finer, and if i do so, the 6h doesnt connect. Any suggestions?

Depending on body type/range may have to do 5k 6k or 5k 6h (closer to corner)instead less damage but bit more consistent

You need to slightly delay the follow up of vault.

to get c.S you have to delay the vault hit as much as possible. 2K is more lenient/more reliable but less dmg

@@KineticOrochi btw also I'm pretty sure that c.s won't connect on pot in c.s 2h 214[p66] c.s and on goldelwis and bedman too pretty sure. (Weights are gone, hitboxes are not) so please check your combos on big bodies. Tho there is a midscreen wallbreak that works on everyone: c.s 2h 214[p66] 5k 6h 214kd (mf cancel) 5k 6h (WS) 6h (WB)

@@KineticOrochi yes, that's why a lot of people said that this change (removing weights) won't change much because hitboxes were the problem not the weights
