He was considered such a bad influence on children back in the 70s and yet at the tender age of 21 he was the only one brave enough to speak out against Jimmy Saville. Well done sir.

@Daveonarave
@Daveonarave 6 жыл бұрын
Anthony Sclafani I agree. These days if the interviewer is you and I's idea of decent and respectful, John is ok. Still full of passion, opinions and phrases that only John can have/do, but fairly mellow and good natured overall. He's been interviewed by Piers Morgan twice and been pretty placid both times - maybe he respects Piers for also being willing to tell it like it is?

If John Lyndon was taken seriously on what he said about Jimmy Saville years ago then that disgrace of a human being would have been investigated sooner and suffered what he deserved to suffer rather than getting away with everything and taking it to his grave. Those who knew what he was up to and too scared to say anything to risk their reputations should be thoroughly ashamed and deserve their laden of guilt.

I'm from a very tiny Appalachian town in Alabama, born in the '60's, so we never got interesting or different music on the radio around here. I'll never forget when my best friend introduced me to her elementary school best friend who had just returned stateside from her daddy being in the Army, stationed in Germany...when she made a cassette copy of Nevermind the Bollocks. My life changed. I am grateful to Mr. Lydon for being the sole motivating factor for me to learn as much about and hear as much music as possible the rest of my life! It helped a lot when I finally moved away from the small town to Atlanta...
