1. Don't date just for fun. 2. Guys, ask women out on dates. 3. Girls, say yes to dates. (+ Can girls ask guys out?) 4. Communicate intentionally and honestly. 5. Don't play games (for example of hard to get). 6. Keep sex out of the relationship. 7. You don't need deep friendships with the opposite sex. 8. Invite outside counsel. 9. Don't be afraid to break up. 10. Understand marriage is about Jesus.

Girls saying yes to dates. Haha. For me, she had said yes 3 times first, then said no later.

This advice is just a little to pat. Girls can ask too. In fact, some personalities are made that way. Not everyone fits into that “me Tarzan, you Jane” charade. Some of us prefer a board room style better. A partnership of equals. The man is chairman of the board and the lady is a board member too. They each have a vote. The chairman usually set the agenda but the other board member can make suggestions at anytime as well. Sometimes, she may be the one that takes the initiative. She has talents and abilities as well.

Hey Caleb ! Amen. I believe so too ! Continue to plug into the Lord, continue being discipled by your mentors. The Lords time is better than ours and though it can get discouraging while we wait, keep the faith ! God bless you. Praying for God to help you discern that blessed lady... He knows your hearts desire. Let His will be done !

Reminding me of why I want to date well. I do have to come at you a little bit for the men and women can’t be friends. Are we looking at two people being honest and healthy with communication or making a blanket rule for everyone to compensate for the weaknesses of some? Thanks though this was definitely a blessing to get to watch.

Biblical marriage is actually extremely red-pilled. It trades the selfishness of the red pill for stoicism but retains proper relational dynamics. The unfortunate reality that men face is that most women, including and especially those in the church, are not Godly women. They do not save themselves for marriage and are not willing to let the husband lead the relationship, let alone fulfill their proper role within the relationship. Most church-going women are "born-again" or looking for a serious partner because they will soon/have already hit the wall and know the church is a good place to find provision. I would highly advise men to pursue Godly marriage, but that requires holding yourself to God's rules and being unbelievably careful about which women you pursue. Godly marriage IS the only marriage. Any other form of "marriage" is simply a civil union and it's no mystery why that doesn't work.

33:27. Mostly agree. That is if you are expecting feelings to be mislead. You and have good friendships with the opposite sex otherwise.

I like this preacher and pray blessings over this church.. there are a lot of good information and messages in this sermon. so I’m not trying to pick a part this message, but I want to encourage some thoughts.. 14:10 whenever I first met my wife, I really didn’t know her too well.. I was not ready to marry her.. but I chose to go on a date with her because I wanted to get to know her more.. I took your advice I would not have went out with her. Yet because I took the chance and went and decided to have dinner with her. I got to her and fell in love with her.. you don’t have to get married on the first date.. but you should be honest that it is a date because you like her.. you get to know someone if you don’t go out to dinner and talk to them. 16:00 asking for a specific time can work if she is available.. it’s better to ask her when she is available to get together. That way you don’t get into confusion if she says no to Saturday. 21:40 some women feel uncomfortable with men, and some men do not take no as a no. Women ghost and stop answering phone calls, and text because they feel uncomfortable… It’s not deceptive. It’s a protection.. 24:00 a man should be focused on his mission and goals.. He should just be sitting at the phone ready to text back the girl. He should be living his life worshiping God reading his Bible, working out, making money. A man who just texted immediately is just too consumed with that woman.. 25:40 Amen!!

I believe I’m going to be an amazing boyfriend, husband, father to the right woman one day. None of the women in my church think I’m good enough for them though. Should I go to a different church?

No hurt in going to other churches. It'll give you a chance to get to know new people. I'd say give it a shot! There's nothing to lose.

That's something to pray about. Is there a purpose for you at your current church? Are you growing spiritually at your current church? These are questions to ask yourself and reflect on. Also, keep working on yourself, and when it's time for the right person, God would match you both together.

I think we need a preach with the topic of how to have healthy christian FRIENDSHIPS with the opposite sex. I'm still kinda trying to figure out what are the emotional boundaries to have with my platonic friends to not lead anyone on and take care of my heart. If someone knows of a resource with this topic please let me know.

I'm just curious how this looks cross culturally...I guess we go back to scripture right? If we look to the Bible and transforming more than conforming (Rom 12), we should both value community, communication and clarity right?

Dating is one thing society reverts to childish ways in thinking. Children think things are to complicated.

Is dating right at all? Until a century ago, dating was illegal. It was prosecuted as prostitution because that’s what it is. By definition, dating is a sexual activity. Courtship, by contrast, has no sexual component. It is done out in the open and often times is supervised or chaperoned in some way. Sex is off limits until marriage. You have the courtship phase, then the engagement phase, and finally marriage. In the modern context you better add the vetting phase at the beginning, before courtship. It’s just not safe out there anymore.
