Yes, it would have worked properly used horizontally, plus you could adjust the thickness properly. And how about when he sliced a carrot using a half-moon knife! I pretty much gave up watching at that point.

The dish wand is great but lasts for less than 1 year before it starts leaking soap where the rubber flap is attached to the handle so you end up with soap all over your hands.
